Even though GT got me into racing simulators (with my 1050hp skyline sedan) forza has totally raised the bar as far as the driving and simulations aspect goes. GT still has the better car models and that's not even arguable (for some strange reason Forza has unrealistic lighting), but that's not the most important aspect of a racing simulator.

GamePro flat out lied, i don't know if it was intentional or not, but being a game publication, ignorance is not a reason for acceptability. I could understand if Time magazine said some garbage like that, but a long standing (don't know why) gaming magazine is inexcusable. At least to me it is....

in the ps2 vs xbox time period, that was never the case. The xbox always improved a ps2 port. it's just that now i guess these two consoles are so different as far as going in a specific direction that there is nothing they can do. i find it strange. M$'s curse is that the 360 is too easy to develop for, so now Sony's console is going to take lead development. Which can still delay games, because the PS3 learning curve is still steep.
