They should put warning labels on screenshots this good. Like: "Warning, Potential face melting and facial distortion."

well, you can see that the smoke effects are better on the 360 from the part when the car gets caught in the sand trap and at the end with the two accidents. The smoke effects were better and had more volume to them then on the ps3. It's funny, i don't normally do this, but if it was going on in the ps3, then people on here would have readily noticed that. Hmmm..... so this is a definate buy for me. I didn't go by any expectations, i just played the game and loved it. And i was pleasantly satisfied, the game was awesome.
But i have noticed that i like WRPGs more than JRPGs. It's been a steadying trend of mine. I can't wait for Fallout, too. That looks like it's going to be awesome.

true, but i think that Eurogamer is a really good site, and i thought they deserved the right to further explain how they came to their conclusions. A lot of hardcore fans were trashing Eurogamer for their comparison, and i really do think that they do the best job out of all the sites that do these comparisons.
So I believe that their work should be acknowledged. They go through a lot to give these comparisons to us (gamers), and many gamers do find the information useful.

the screen tearing is in the overscan. Which is in the area of the TV that you can't see. I have it for 360, and haven't noticed any, but that does answer why we can't see it.

it actually makes sense. Have you ever seen a HD news broadcast, you can see every pimple blemish and over use of make up. Most people probably would prefer the SD tv look of the broadcast because some of that detail is lost because of the lower resolution. So to them the picture looks better with the less detail.
That's what is happening here. Since the lines are being blurred with that filter and there is lower resolution, it's harder to see the rougher edges of the game, at ...
let's not forget that the whole map of halo is loaded. That's the only way you can get the replay theater to work right. You can at anytime detach the camera and fly around the whole screen. It wasn't like any other game that just loads what you can see. Halo 3 had the whole map, down to every pixel loaded at real time.
So let's stop with all the knockin at Halo 3, half of you know nothing behind what the game is doing, and the other half are haters. And i'm sorry Sonarus, but...
