Got on 10 minutes ago and had no problems while playing Socom 4. Couple of people on my friendlist were on as well. Think it's region specific?
Yeah, Sony probably got on it as soon as they threated them yesterday. Btw, Sony.com still works and the eu official playstation forums are back up.
Edit: Sony.com loaded quick for me, earlier I heard it was pretty slow though.
Nice. UC2's multiplayer was pretty fun, especially when you were in a party with friends. Co-op modes were good as well.
@ Zealous
Yeah, the whole "hack fest" started after Geohot said that he found a way to exploit the Other OS feature and after all the dongles came out to pirate PS3 games. After some stores got sued/blocked from selling and after the Other OS feature was removed to stop that exploit, I kinda feel like it really started to pickup from there.
@ eve
You could use the OtherOS for emulators, tests and...for basically doing stuff that you...
Sony didn't lose, they settled with Connectix for a 2 year joint agreement to get their cut for those emulated games and to have the Sony emulator technology come from them for the PC and Mac.

Also yes, emulators themselves are generally legal, but the ROM files you download to play on them are generally not.
Probably talking about those Sega, Dreamcast and Nintendo emulators used to play old classic games on the ps3.
Agent and Final Fantasy Versus 13 gameplay footage with a release date would make my E3.
I sure hope so, I would love to see what Rockstar could do which the PS3, especially if it's a sandbox type of game.
What the heck? This case gets weirder and weirder each day.
""Most seriously, after Magistrate Judge Spero ordered an inspection of Hotz’s devices and ordered Hotz to appear at a deposition in California, SCEA learned that Hotz had deliberately removed integral components of his impounded hard drives prior to delivering them to a third party neutral and that Hotz is now in South America, an excuse for why he will not immediately provide the components of his h...
Revival!!! Please be a RE2 remake.
Great kid, handled the situation well. Glad the depressed guy didn't make it to a online game. I've heard some of the most creative, derogatory slurs and insults that I had to lookup while playing certain FPS games online.
I can't wait for Socom 4. From what I've seen, it looks pretty fun.
Sweet, can't wait to play this. Sounds like a really fun time.
Duplicate? Same article on that Koush guy that was posted about a week ago.

Wasn't this proven to be fake in the other article that failed? Here the direct source. Read what the hacker Math and mastag had to say.

Eee, glad I decided to go with KZ3. Might pick Crysis 2 up a few weeks later used though.
How the heck did they get the game if it's release has been delayed?
Edit: Nvm, stores were and are still apparently selling games (Dragon Age 2, MLB 2011 The Show, and now Motorstorm) early before the official release date.
Duplicate? That's the same Koushik Dutta here.

This article is mainly talking about Black Ops software sales and it's attach rate on each of the PS3 and Xbox360 console. I took (and still do) his comment as a means to bash Killzone 3 software sales for no good reason since the article's on sales and attach rates. Sorry if he really didn't mean it that way. I just think it's a little out of place for him to be mentioning how better the Black Ops connection has been compare to Killzone 3's when the Black Ops servers have...
So they are trying to DDoS (spam) the playstation store so that no one can get on it and download demos/games? Are they beefing with Sony or it's customers/gamers?
@ Havok That's the impression I got from the other article's comments on the whole thing.
