I thought the second 3.56 update fixed that problem? Also, why would they leave the ps3 hdd corrupt and unplayable for several weeks without seeking help or doing anything (I'm pretty sure that customer service would've told them about the second update if they called)?

Yeah, court case is tomorrow. Didn't know that LG had that right to do so in Holland if they wanted to though (in that 10 day ban).

True. Also (meant to add this in my first post but), since every cutscene/action sequences are in-engine, wouldn't this once said "pre-rendered CGI" gif also be in-engine? If what ND states is true above, then they really have outdone themselves.

Most got kicked from their servers after the 3.60 firmware ban on the ps3. The people who haven't jailbroken their PS3s or modded their Xbox360s but are using that game save mod exploit will probably be affected by this the most. No word yet tho.

So if you brought a second hand ps3 with a different HDD (500gb) from amazon/ebay or such with the old 3.55/3.56 firmware now, you would have that problem. Legit, hopefully Sony will release a second 3.60 update but this time with a email notice.
