These are good times in the game industry. The Past Generation, Sony Smoked everyone with Playstation 2. There wasn't much excitement in terms of competition. It's great to see Microsoft and Nintendo doing so well. Sony's drive to find it's place in the market place will only push Microsoft and Nintendo further (in terms of doing what it takes to keep their Positions). It's a win, win situation for gamers.
SlappyMcTaint, I own a video game in Albuquerque New Mexico called Gamers Anonymous and I've seen first hand how many defective Playstation 2's are out there. Non the less, if the issue is about Playstation 3 vs. Xbox 360, then you have nothing. Xbox 360 has your system beat. It's all about hardware and software sales. Xbox 360 continues to out sell Playstation 3 world wide in both area's. Your system is a distant third.

Since the Playstation 2 has been released, I've already gone through 4 systems. Can anyone say "Disc Read Error"? Almost everyone I know has gone through at least 2 PS2. I didn't see Sony doing Jack $hit for their customers. As least Microsoft has my back for 3 years.

Sony Fanboys are the only group that lacks the most basic Elementary Skills, such as math. As of this moment, Sony has about 4.63 million Systems sold world wide. If Sony started Selling 500k a month, than it would be one year from today that they would hit 10.63 million systems. The problem? They don't sell anything close to 500k a month.

If the Playstation 3 started selling 500k a month, than it would only be one year before it caught up to the Xbox 360 sales as of today. That would mean the Xbox 360 would have to sell nothing for the next year. But the reality is that the Playstation 3 is moves less than 150k units a month. So, it going to be years and years and years before it can even catch todays Xbox 360 sales. As for Wii, we all know it kicking ass and taking names.

Microsoft will sell out of the Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 which is 200k on top of boosted sales due to Halo 3. Probably closer to 600k for the Month.

One of the reason's I bought a Playstation 3 was for Virtua Fighter 5. I found myself bored due to the fact that I found myself playing alone most of the time. Plus, I didn't want to put in the work (no Achievement points. As soon as I found out an Xbox 360 version with Online play was coming out, I sold my PS3 version. Can't wait.

It's not Hardware that makes good software, it's software that makes good hardware. We've been hearing from the beginning that the Playstation 3 is more powerful but the current software doesn't reflect that. I care about playing games now. When the Playstation 3 comes out with good games. Than I will buy games for that system. As of the moment, the only game I'll be buying on Playstation 3 is WipeOut HD.
