The Demo has been released in Japan. Hello Microsoft, I'm ready to download it right now.
I'm ready for a new Castlevania on DS. My DS hasn't done anything since the last Castlevania.
Splatterhouse was a great 16-bit game way back in the days. I've always felt that it had fantastic elements that would make a good modern day game. I hope it turns out well.
@Guns N Swords
I didn't mention Mass Effect. It was actually my favorite RPG last year. But it's not a JRPG which was the subject. I love the visuals on Eternal Sonata more so that Blue Dragon. Eternal Sonata was simplistic but had a fun battle system. I finished it on Xbox 360 and have no intention of revisiting it when it comes out on Playstation 3.
As I always say, it comes down to preference.
@Marceles
After playing Blue Dragon, I saw a lot of...
Sure I've played and finished a ton of JRPG's. I'll name a few that I've finished:
Phantasy Star
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star III
Phantasy Star IV
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana
Suikoden I
Suikoden II
Final Fantasy I
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IIV
GoldenSun
Sword of Vermillion
Shining Wisdom
Shining the Holy Ark
Shining in the Darkness...
@Vicophine
Did you play them? Can you tell me a little about what you disliked about BD and ES? I thought Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata were fantastic JRPG's. Eternal Sonata has a great story, beautiful graphics and a classic soundtrack and if you enjoyed Chrono Trigger, you'd love Blue Dragon.
Far enough, lets just agree that fanboyizm can pull the devil out of all of us.
There's no reason for anyone to love the Xbox 360. Playstation Fanboys are correct in saying that it isn't reliable. I myself have gone through 3 systems. However, it's the games that keep me playing primarily on Xbox 360. Though you mentioned some big sellers on your list, there are more reasons to enjoy Xbox 360.
For one, I love Xbox Live Arcade. It's very appealing to old school gamers like myself. I've had a blast with cult classics such as Ikaruga and Rez HD. I myself have o...
The reviews sound good to me. I can't wait. I'm not sure why all these PS3 fanboys are trying to make it out to be a bad game. None of them have played it and I'm sure that they'll never play it. So, why would they care about what I buy.
There are many games that use an entire Blu-Ray Disc. Developers duplicate the same data over and over (so the laser travels less) because Blu-Ray is so darn slow. The other solution to overcoming the slowness of Blu-Ray is mandatory installs.
@Hydrolex
I was correct in my assessment. At the time, Playstation 3 Fanboys were taunting HAZE as if it were some kind of gem and it turned out to be nothing.
@Big Jim
I should correct myself. The Xbox 360 has more RAM dedicated specifically for Video Games (512mb). The Playstation 3 has the same amount of RAM but it's all divided up. It has 196mb of RAM dedicated towards games and a bunch of ram pools that run at differents speeds. I could probably write a page on t...
GTAIV on PS3 isn't smoother, it's blurrier. The 360 version runs at a higher resolution. That's why it looks sharper. That in itself is another debate.
The Xbox 360 advantage of having more RAM over Playstation 3 has been well documented. Most people know the advantage developers have with more RAM. So I won't argue the subject. If you don't know, that's know my fault.
@Hydrolex
The argument as to whether the PS3 is more powerful than or over Xbox 360 is something thats been debated on this site over and over. It's subjective. It's the reason why there are fanboys on both sides.
Hardware wise, PS3 maybe more powerful in some areas and it has Blu-Ray; However, Xbox 360 is powered by better software and more RAM (more than twice as much). Some users feel the advantages of Playstation 3 are better than Xbox 360 and others feel that 36...
Yeah, I notice all the comments are dated May 23rd 2008. So the Wednesday, June 13, 2007 has to be a mistake.
@Breakfast
It's hard to delay games that never had a release date to begin with. The only delayed game on your list is Left4Dead. It's a third party game and still, it never had an official release date. I don't think you'll hear Xbox 360 users complaining; they aren't hurting for games.
I agree. They should shoot for Halloween.
We need the other 2 Killer Instinct games for Xbox Live Arcade.
Lost Odyssey was released in February.
Ninja Gaiden II is June.
It's a sad day for Playstation 3 owners if Haze is undoubtedly the best full-blown FPS for the PS3 so far because it's generic. Try the demo before you buy.
I'm going to buy Golden Axe: Beast Rider and play it over and over just like I did the original. I can't wait. It looks good.
