Seriously. I agree. Have a bubble, my friend.
It's ridiculous. This was an obvious, automatic buy until I found this out.
What if I put Diablo 3 on my beastly laptop, and I'm playing the game not in my own home. Which, is something I can do with a laptop.
I should still be able to play the single player, even if I am not connected to the internet. The features they mention that make it required are not necessary in any way. They are convenient, but without them, I am very sure I would still be able to play the game all by my lonesome.
One thing I would say in response to you is they didn't mention what kind of internet will be required. Some people don't have access to fast internet, especially in non-urban areas.
Also, what if you are playing on your laptop and you aren't at home and there's no wireless?
I should still be able to play Diablo 3 single player. I don't need those features they mentioned to be active at all times, especially since they're not even feat...
Weird. I don't want it. Looks pretty terrifying.
I've had a bunch of guilds fall apart, it's a very depressing thing. However, my core group of a few people eventually always find their way back together and then we make another guild and give it all another go.
I definitely used to socialize with people more on the game, though. Since randoms aren't even people from your own server, you don't find people that way like you used to, and BGs are the same. It's a generally lonely world in WoW all because o...
I do too, pal.
What? The subtitles.. That he broke up with her because of ....... something.
There hasn't even been a price cut on the 360. There have been sales, sure, and even a bundle, but the actual game of Limbo is still 1200 M$ points.
The prices on download-only titles do not drop anywhere near the rate that the retail prices do. Because, they honestly don't have to. They don't really have competition.
It's the exact same price as it is RIGHT NOW on the Xbox 360 marketplace. 1200 M$ points. Just checked today.
It's 1200 M$ points. So if you bought it yesterday off the marketplace, you did pay $15. Unless there was a sale that I missed.
You know, I bought Limbo when it was on sale for 800 M$ points ($10) because I'm a cheapo. After playing it, though, it really is super special and one of a kind. It's worth the $15.
Also, Limbo is still 1200 M$ points on the XBL Marketplace. It's literally still $15. So, why should PSN get a discount when it's brand new on there when it's still full priced on Xbox 360? ? ?
AAA games aren't too long, as long as the story is engaging enough to keep you going until the ending. Which, with AAA games, they usually are.
That's why they are -> AAA <- games. Not B+ games.
But you literally can't choose M$ as your side in the handheld war. It's either Nintendo or Sony.
I think that anyone with an Xbox 360 as their only home console, even if they have a hard on for M$, can get a PS Vita without hesitation, since M$ isn't even in the equation when it comes to handhelds. Otherwise, they just can't have a handheld... Unless they want that 3DS nonsense, I guess. Bleh. So, maybe an xbox site can write an unbiased article on the PS Vit...
I never hooked my PSP up to my TV, but I always think it's a shame when a utility that I know other people liked using a lot is taken away. I can't blame them for crying, I'm sure if I used it, I would be shedding a tear, too.
Also, does it have an HDMI slot? I feel like they would have hyped that up if it did. The PS Vita is sure to be amazing, regardless. I'm so excited. :D
Because no one could possibly game on Xbox Live and also get a PS Vita?????
For handhelds, it's a choice between Sony & Nintendo, M$ isn't in the equation. You either pick the gimmicky one with all the awesome Nintendo first party titles or you pick the hardcore machine of uberness from Sony. You can't pick M$ as your side because they're not even in the handheld war.
Personally, I like my PS3, but my Xbox 360 is my gaming platform of choi...
Right. That's why this article is talking about potential issues from what is known of the system. Every gaming industry publication does some speculation before a new system is out, so I don't see what the issue is. Perhaps reading the article would help you understand what the article was actually about.
It is a Sony fan hive, not necessarily obnoxious fanboys. It's rare that I see anyone saying anything positive about the Xbox or Kinect - and honestly, when i do, they have a bajillion disagrees, but I see people praising / defending Sony up and down every article. I personally like both, so meh.
55 comments with the majority of them being PSV supporters on this article so far, and you're claiming that phantom disagrees are rampant? I see 2 at most per pro Sony commen...
Zynga created Farmville - the most evil of all games - by being super evil. Fitting.
The writer makes a lot of valid points, and I agree with him.
Awesome stuff. I really want this game!
