Is Sony finally acquiring them?
6-8 AAA exclusives? Have these been announced yet? Honest question. All I can think is:
TLoU2
Ghost of Tsushima
Death Stranding
Days Gone
Nioh 2
And we know Days Gone and Nioh 2 are coming next year for sure. I'm also hoping Ghost of Tsushima as well because that game looks so dang good!
Pretty sure Turn 10 already said they aren't doing Forza Motorsport 8 as they are taking the year off to refocus and prepare their engine for next gen features and such.
PSVR has been amazing! Definitely a great option if you don't have the PC specs to run a Rift or Vive.
If anyone is looking for a very solid team based shooter, I highly recommend getting Firewall Zero Hour, but make sure you get the VR gun peripheral. I'm really looking forward to PSVR2 because the tracking and controllers need work, but all and all it's a fantastic option.
I still think it was a missed opportunity by Sony by not having these guys make a L4D MP mode in Days Gone. Oh well, hopefully World War Z will be great.
Its not surprising though considering the majority of gamers (the casual market) are not the ones who visit game news sites like this and read up on all the news. They just see "Oh a new fallout game!"
Also considering it has 0 MT's, I'm not sure what's greedy about it.
As you should. No game is perfect, that's why you hope for sequels so the devs can improve and innovate.
Agreed. I just got thinking about how cool a co-op L4D mode would be in DG.
I mean, uncharted started out as SP only, but added it in the sequel. Plus it would have been done by an outside dev letting Bend fully focus on their SP mode
@atticus
Well obviously if there was an agreement then they would have ended up using the same tech. There are plenty of games that out source the MP to another dev.
Bend didn't make Infamous. That was Sucker Punch.
Bend made Siphon Filter way back when but lately has been stuck making Vita games. Days Gone is their first foray into a full fledged console game in a long time.
Huh? Sony told a 3rd party dev "no we don't want your MP mode in our game". Not quite the same thing as a dev telling their publisher "no we don't want to add MP".
Nothing wrong with having a seperate MP mode. Uncharted and TLoU both have MP modes, and they are well known for great stories. So having both is possible.
I mean, it would be by a different dev, I don't think it would have effected what Bend is doing... it essentially would have just been World War Z in Days Gone since both feature massive hordes of fast moving human eaters. I think it would have been a good addition to have in the Days Gone package.
I can't wait to try out my 2070 on this game. Unlike Battlefield, Metro is using Ray Tracing for shadows as well.
Well at least Gears 5 looks like it's going to try something new. Ori isn't triple a, but it's still a 9+ game for sure. Cuphead DLC is welcome as well.
I'm also excited for Session, and I'm sure Crackdown 3 won't win any awards but I'm sure the campaign will be fun.
That being said, I think my most anticipated game for 2019 is Ghost of Tsushima. I hope that comes out next year!
The final act did feel a bit rushed. Each sinister six character should have had more focus. But all and all it was a fantastic game.
Because they'd rather just port with a res bump and rake in the millions anyway.
Because if your comment isn't hating Anthem or EA then you'll automatically get downvotes just on principle.
