Darksiders 3 isn't a sandbox game.
I understand your other worries though, but honestly, Crackdown has always been kind of its own sandbox type game. It was never filled with filler fetch side quests, rather, it kept you on the hook by triggering your collectathon obsession. Had to collect all them orbs.
Who knows if it will do anything new, but from what i have seen, there is no other sandbox game out right now that allows you to drive up building in...

Which is fine since they make more money off of software then hardware. As long as you're still plugged into their ecosystem buying their games, MS is happy. I have a i7 9700k and a RTX 2070, but I'll still be buying the next xbox because my wife doesn't like PC gaming. Everyone is different.
Depends on the profession. In construction a metaphor like that is pretty tame for what usually gets thrown around when things get heated.
This is what I tell everyone. Take your time. If you take your time and actually role play Arthur as a human in the world and stop trying to treat the game like GUN or something more arcadey then youll understand the brilliance. Its not supposed to be a fast paced arcade shooter. Role play as a cowboy outlaw.
You can always adjust the settings. I turned the sensitivity up high, the auto aim and snap off while on foot. Made for a better time shooting. I however left most of the auto aim and snapping on for the horseback shooting because it almost felt impossible getting a shot off while bouncing around on a horse making turns and shit.
Without giving away story points the "I have a plan" was a way to show how Dutch was slowly unravelling. The story was fantastic.
RDR2 is a fantastic game. If you want to role play as a cowboy outlaw then there is no other game out there like it.

The division had a rocky start but they did well fixing it and adding content. I'm more excited for division then anything Destiny is doing right now.

Well Halo 5 MP is still a lot different and way more fast paced then the old school and I love that change. But yeah I'm so glad they got rid of loadouts and orbital drops and all that CoD shit from 4.

Yes it is the worst selling, but it is still increasing its own sales and revenue year over year. You don't need to be #1 to be successful. Not saying they should just be complacent with 3rd place, but its not like it's a failing product.
