"The perspective I and "SJW's" look at it from, is that if you don't see me for my race, sex, and color of my skin then you are misrepresenting me in your mind."
Why can't I just represent you how I would anyone else? Shouldn't it just be treating you like who you are. Unless you're telling me your entire identity revolves around your race and sex, instead of your thoughts and actions etc.
It's pretty easy to tell the difference. BFV is a recent one, Mass effect Andromeda, Nadine from UC4 (voiced by a white woman before they even knew what Nadine would look like and then decided to go with a black character because quote from Druckmann "this is awesome, how often you see a character of color like this… that’s ripped and all…”)

No one cares if there is diversity in games, it's when it is forced in to appease a certain crowd is when people generally get annoyed. Diversity isn't something that should be forced in, just make the characters you want.
The Hololens is pretty big for them, but has not reached commercial sale yet. It is much more for business uses than playing games.
What if I want the hardcore console with diskless? I'd much rather get a cheaper hardcore console with no drive or maybe more memory space instead.
My wife has gotten her fair share of mean comments thrown at her because of her sex, also far more sexual comments and messages asking to "snuggle struggle". While I get shit talked on, it's never about my sex, it's about I screwed up. While when a girl screws up it's because she is a girl and shouldn't be playing big boy games. I have seen it first hand playing with my wife.
And as far as the construction scene, plumbers and electricians is a much...
Tbf, Anthem has not had such a shitty PR disaster and they don't seem to be pandering to the SJW crowd with forced diversity like what happened with BFV. No PR guy is telling us "IF you don't like it then don't buy Anthem".
Wow my swipe text killed me:
"I'm going to say this knowing that they have changed their minds about a couple core things..."
Did you guys explore the new areas? Fight the skeleton ships? Do the bi weekly events? I think that is the content they are talking about.
You can see you're character through emotes, but yes I agree on both points
But, there aren't any MT's?
A level system and tier system is really not needed. If you see a pirate with legendary outfits and their boat is decked out with the most expensive skins... you automatically know that player is a pirate legend and has put in a lot of time.
That being said, that same pirate could just wear low level outfits and troll people with his superior skill. Having an arbitrary number overt ones head doesn't mean anything. And yes there are unlocks when you level up factions. At...
I'm thing to say this knowing that they have changed their mind about a coyote core things they claimed they didn't want to add, but did anyway. For instance, they said no AI ships because they wanted you to feel the pressure knowing that any boat you see is a real player. But they went ahead and added in AI skeleton ships.
BUT the progression is a tough one because the core of the experience they want is tat any new players or returning players will never be at a d...
No first party AAA dev is going to make a platformer anymore. It's just not what the market wants. Yooka Laylee is a great example. Also Knack. I think the only game that can get away with it is Mario and I'd say that's partly due to the nostalgia (not saying Odyssey is a bad game), but only Nintendo and Mario can pull it off in this gaming climate.
It's funny when people blame the MS acquisition only. Not realizing the downfall of Rare was happening much before that. The sale of the studio was just the tipping point that gave the OG guys reason to bail and start their own projects. Which besides time splitters they haven't had a hit.
Lol ouch.
They can't because the same people who worked on their hayday games aren't there anymore. MS gives Rare freedom and they came up with Sea of Thieves. People just need to accept that when Nintendo dropped their shares and MS outbid Activision for it that during this process most of Rares talent left.
Also, the gaming industry is changing. What AAA studio is making 3d platformers? Just look at Knack and the ex Rares lead guys game Yooka Laylee... the genre is better l...
While I agree it's not celebrated or even a top tier platformer. I did enjoy playing it with my daughter, it was simple enough for her to understand, but had slight difficulty spikes that allowed me to play and help her out. I'd like to see a sequel because it does have potential to be a great 3d platformer.
They'll just find someone else equally greedy that knows nothing about video game culture or the fans. They only see in $ signs.
Only games that are repetitive and boring are repetitive and boring. No one is saying "Wow this game is so fun because of the diversity in it!!".
