I knew they weren't going to keep this game off xbox. It would have been silly, especially after they announced K/M support. I still think they need to add gamepad support though. If Halo War and Xcom can support controller, then this should also.
Why do games need to move me? I'm not really "moved" by games. That is a subjective answer.
And if we are using "moved" in a sense where you just feel some type of way then yeah, just about all games make me feel some type of way. I have had amazing gameplay sessions in SoT, meeting up with random crews, having a blast. The heart beat rush when you're on an island, but you see a crew boarding your ship.

Does it though? I think Metro Exodus, Sekiro, DMC5, RE2, Rage 2, Code Vein, Control, Biomutant, KH3, Far Cry: New Dawn, Anthem (potentially), Division 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Crash Team Racing... and many more not coming to Switch beat its line-up, and these are just 3rd party games. Then we can add on top games like Days Gone, Death Stranding, TLoU2, Dreams, Concrete Genie, Nioh 2, and possibly Ghost of Tsushima (but I'm thinking that may be a PS5 cross launch game).

Like I do with most of these franchises going mobile... I'll try it, and then drop it most likely the same day once the same gameplay loop and limitations set in after the tutorials and then it becomes the same game as all the others.
This product is largely useless.
1. You have to sit down and the way it makes you press and turn would just feel weird while sitting pulling you out of the immersion.
2. I don't know about ya'll, but I man spread like crazy so keeping my legs and knees together the entire time I play doesn't sound comfortable.

Eh, I mean I never bought one and was able to acquire so many cards that I had more than I knew what to do with. I felt it was balanced fine, but id rather have armor and cosmetics and such as unlockables. The MT's did allow for a ton of free content though so I can't really complain too much.
Halo 5's MP was near perfect. I think the only thing it needed to improve on was better hand crafted dev maps instead of Forge made maps. Also, more organic maps and less of the futuristic forerunner/promethian super shiny angular architecture.
The campaign though? Pretty much just a whole lot of meh, especially since the ad campaign was so damn exciting. Glad to hear 4 player split screen is back!

Plus, these companies make more money on software sales than hardware. MS doesn't care if you buy it on Xbox or the Xbox store on your PC. As long as you're buying their software and staying in the ecosystem with GamePass, it doesn't much matter to them.
Especially with an unproven product. They may cut Sony a bigger deal because they know they'll be manufacturing mass amounts, but this console? I doubt it.

I have always wanted a Gears themed Xcom game. I was very excited to see that announcement. The core gameplay lends to that style perfectly anyway since it's a cover based shooter.
Hopefully there are no pay to win purchases in there like there was in the first one. What a joke that was.
But is being "moved" really an important factor of gaming? I'd say only a small portion of games will even really "move" someone and that really depends on how much you can relate. Games like Celeste might move someone who is suffering the same condition, while I thought it was just a really good story with a good platforming.
