back on topic, this is no surprise. Valve would be stupid if they didn't have something already started for HL3. But if they're doing Motion capture now, doesn't that mean that the game probably wont be ready for another year or two? :/
@ShinMaster No, actually Bungie is done with it because they wanted to go multiplatform and the only way M$ would let them go multiplatform would be if they agreed to let go of the halo IP.
Halo is not that milked actually. Each iteration has had good quality. Halo Wars is still the best RTS experience on a console and IMO M$ should have kept ensemble around to create a better version for PC.
You want to talk about milked? Look at halo4 and tell me that game ...
I think the irony here is that Halo Wars was originally designed to be an RTS (by Bungie) before they made the move to FPS. I'm not sure why or what compelled Bungie to think this lol
I thought the number of people playing as Zero was pretty good... Mostly because it's true -_- lol
I didn't really expect anything else from Sony. They did the same thing with the PS2. Hopefully this means that Last Guardian will be released on the PS3 :D
Borderlands is unique. The gunplay is smooth and plays like a natural FPS, while there is a giant emphasis on RPG elements, and there is a loot system better than diablo3! You've got a satirical comedy along with a great art style.... Borderlands does so much, and it does all of it so well, that's why it's a unique game. Anybody whose trying to copy that formula is trying too hard... I bet it's a studio owned by EA.
Their products since EA taking over has suffered in terms of quality. ME2 was a good game, this is true, however TOR, ME3, and DA2 were all under par in comparison to previous Bioware games. The character progression was weak and the story felt shallow and was over too quickly.
Dragon Age Origins was a perfect game. There was not a single thing I disliked about that game. The sequel on the other hand was way streamlined and suffered due to lack of dialogue and story. DA2 felt...

It's like we all know what's coming, but we're too afraid to admit it... We're all hoping Bioware just makes a proper RPG game again and we don't have to worry about any tacked on MP modes.... year right, we're all in denial lol
Not sure what is so impressive about iphone5.... It's overpriced and nowhere as good as the top phones on the market (specially when it finally gets released).
PS. What is an android gamer? I'm a gamer, and I have an android (and I play emulators and other games on my phone).... but I don't consider myself an android gamer :/ lol

While you're right, the amount of detail in the level design is fantastic. This is why it goes beyond my expectations. Now I know what they were doing for 8 years lol.
The amount of detail which is present at every single point of the game shows why it took them 8 years to make it. This is a work of art.
Can you really blame Platinum games? From what I understand Sega wasn't interested in funding a sequel, so Nintendo stepped in and funded them. If you had a choice between no sequel or sequel for wiiu, wouldn't you take the deal?

Are you not a hypocrite if you do the same about this game? This game isn't for me, but good for anyone who wants to play it. I could care less.
It's okay, most EA/Activision games are pretty shameful... So it's nothing new haha!
Not sure how anyone can say it feels like Cod. I played halo4 at San Diego Comic-con and I thought it felt like the classic halo experience that Halo Reach never felt like. I'm tired of the cod comparisons really. Halo is a very different game, shots are much more precise and opponent health is much more important. The two games play differently, whether they have loadouts or not is not a reason for comparing the two.
Isn't that the only thing that this new Bioware seems to be doing? It seems like EA has turned them completely against the core RPG crowd and now they're just after getting cod players to play their game :/
It's almost impossible to try and make both the casual and core RPG players happy with a single game. That day will never happen, the expectations that the two sides have are complete opposites. I really hope that DA3 goes back to the roots of Origin.
While I'm first to point out that DA2 had many flaws, after reading the latest Dragon Age Novel (Dragon Age: Asunder), DA2 is actually not that bad of a game. If you're a dragon age fan, I highly recommend you read that novel, it's fantastic!
Forget the fact that it's in every single way a better game, it's only 1/3 the price!
