This game was meant to be finished multiple times. Forget just finishing the game once, You need to beat it at least twice. The subtlety of foreshadowing in this game is done with so much detail. I'm amazed at how delicate the game really is.
Also, I believe that console users that play the recent EA games like BF3 will also be tallied in this 45 million player count. For example, Bioware accounts got migrated, and battlelog accounts are also origin accounts.
This 45 million is a huge lie.
These guys rebooted Deus Ex, and aside from the boss battles, that was a fantastic game. I think I have trust that they'll create a good game. Let's not jump ahead of ourselves.
If there is so little time... why are you wasting your time writing about it? Couldn't you use this time to play?
@Godmars
To call this game an FPS is truly a disservice to what this game actually is. This game is nothing like what "modern gaming" has become. It is a breath of fresh air in an industry full of corridor shooters and linear and simple story. This game is complex, it assumes its audience in intelligent and respects the player. I'm going to go ahead and assume you haven't played the game, because the way you're describing it couldn't be any further f...
Actually, the last part after the credits is not an open ending. it's actually quite clever and makes sense.
SPOILERS BELOW:
Since Booker kills himself at the moment of baptism, no versions of himself are born in the form of Cocmstock. Therefore Comstock ceases to exist, yet the Booker who chose not to be baptized still exists. This Booker does not lose Anna to Comstock (since he does not exist) and therefore Elizabeth never exists. Therefore the circle i...
Yeah... this article doesn't make me feel any better about the fate of these two franchises. I never had a problem with the engine that DA:Origins ran on, because it was all about the story. DA 2 had a crap story about a bunch of fetch quests, and now they try and impress us with a new engine. NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE ENGINE, JUST MAKE A GOOD STORY!
With that being said, the FB engine is strong (I can admit to this).
There was a sequel... It was made by Obsedian, and Lucas Arts gave them less than 9 months to develop it. It had it's fair share of bugs because of it, but the game was still good. Apparently Obsedian is trying to get a license to make another Star Wars RPG. I'm rooting for them.
OMG Soul Sacrifice :D I can't wait :D
They gave St. Patricks day skins also. But yes, I wish they would do something more creative with it. In a sense, the chest kind of ruins the balance of the loot in the game. Anything you get in the chest is far better than just about anything you find in game... it makes no sense to me that just because I punched in a code, I should get a weapon that's 10x better than the rifle I spent hours finding.
I'm so glad that Sony is still interested in appealing to the gamers. I'm so tired of M$ trying to appeal to non-gamers... I hope PS4 destroys the next xbox in sales.
And his dislikes seemed like he was nitpicking a lot. Not sure how you can complain about having too many combat options during combat without having the buttons to map them on. This is console gaming, I think we're all used to it by now lol
Sure ME3 doesn't get any negative points for it... but god forbid Ken Levine has a similar system...
Actually, I spoke with a few Epic employees during San Diego Comic Con. One guy said Epic is still the developer behind the multiplayer. PCF did the single player.
No deal in Canada :(
Telltale's walking dead games were great, it was definitely my top 5 in 2012 just because of the emotional impact it had on me... But technically speaking, they were awful. The amount of frame rate problems or game freezes makes no sense when you consider how little processing power this game should be using.
Their engine needs to be fixed. I really hope season 2 does not have these issues.
Second game was an action game... but it was still scary to some extent. I liked DS2, not as much as DS1, but I still liked it. DS3 is just not dead space....
Kevin VanOrd from Gamespot is a reviewer that I can usually trust. He gave Sim City a 5/10. No BS, he told it like it was.
I can't say the same for other reviewers unfortunately.
They're not trying to compensate anything. They're just trying to control the damage it is doing to their already poor reputation. And they will never learn. It's EA.
If the rumors of the next xbox are true, I see a lot of gamers switching over to the PS4. I'm a primary xbox player, and I'll be making the switch. M$ just doesn't care about gamers anymore.
ME1 is still the best ME IMO. Lots of replay value, and I still go back to play it once a year. I can't say the same about the others.
