Ubisoft has been getting better with their always online DRM crap. So let's hope it is just an optional thing. Also, let's hope they've learned from Sim City and Diablo 3.... This never turns out well.
Totally agree with you. I wont be buying any more EA titles next game. They've let me down too many times with a poor sequel to a franchise I love. And furthermore, their poor business practices just piss me off every time they publish a decent game.
I think they refer to Jaw-dropping as in: I can't believe this is the studio who used to make awesome games like DK, Banjo, and Conker... and now they're making crappy kinect games.

Totally agree with you. Microtransactions are fine when it's for a meaningless hat for your character that adds nothing to your experience of the game other than a visual difference.
When you talk about making microtransactions for actual upgrades in a game that you paid 60 dollars for.... that's pushing it.

Got myself an early copy of the game. I can tell you one thing: No DBNO is not the only problem with the game. I'll be playing Gears 3 on the day of Judgment's release.
It's a very difficult thing to try and explain to a PS3 player (who has never used the feature) how awesome cross game chat is. I fully agree with you, it is not worth the subscription fee that xbox players pay, but cross game chat is a fantastic feature that the PSN would definitely benefit from. You'll see when you get your hands on it!

It's quite obvious that D3's streamlined game design was made for consoles. These design choice ultimately led to the game having a shallow gameplay for me.
But maybe console players will like it better.

They certainly set the bar very high for Microsoft. As a primary xbox player, I'll be purchasing a PS4 this holiday season. The things I saw today were absolutely amazing.

The open world addition will be awesome in the Witcher3. witcher 2 was an awesome game, but I always wished it had more side quests. This will surely accomplish that for me :D
Also, on topic: EA/Bioware should be intimidated! Witcher 2 was everything DA2 should have been + more! But maybe they should stop worrying about what their competition is doing, and just make a good game! Stop trying to cater to every single genre, just make a good RPG game.

I wish publishers would realize that I can afford half of the games I get day1 because I'm able to take advantage of trade promotions and pay off my preorder with a traded in game.
If they take out used game sales, I would buy a larger portion of my games later down the line... and I know I'm not the only one!
Or you can just use an android phone... And you can use a variety of emulators from N64 to Gameboy and many more...
