He kind of has a point... Why sell something through a publisher if you're making 1/3 million per day?
Unfortunately Steam is the way PC is going right now... That doesn't mean people can't self publish... but You're a lot better off if you publish your games through steam in my opinion. Less people will pirate, and more people will buy due to steam's marketing.
Stupid article. In no way is DA2 better than Origins... anybody who thinks so must be on some really really really good drugs.
I've beat Origins 5 times now, and I plan on replaying it once again in a few months or so.
It shouldn't cost money to put out patches. We pay for our xbox live, M$ makes enough money from that.... There is no need to hurt the indie market.
Not sure why ME3 is there, and Dragon's Dogma is not. Dogma is easily this year's best game so far.
Or better yet... Why would you tailor a horror game for somebody who prefers action? I just don't understand this, they skyrocketed their marketing and development costs so they can give this game a new identity... and they expect it to sell 5 million copies (which we all know won't happen)...
Here is an idea EA, why not just keep the budget what it was and just create a third game for an already profitable franchise instead of shooting yourself in the foot before the...

Yup. BC2 had the best MP I had played in many years. BF3 MP was kind of disappointing. The player count was too little for the size of most of the maps (Operation Firestorm, I'm looking at you).
ME3. The game is pure trash, not sure why it gets so much love. The other two games are absolutely amazing, this one is just rushed and weak. It's pathetic.
I don't think there is a design problem... Witcher was a very mature game that required the player to pay attention to the story in order to make the correct decisions. If somebody missed the fact that the story branched in act 2, they likely just weren't paying any attention.
Gears2 was by far the worst gears of war game of the series. Besides, Gears3 has the best online MP... and the story is actually interesting.
Not too happy about the rank system myself. I was hoping to see the return of the rank system in halo3 :(
hah! This guy has 487 games played, and he's only completed 35 of them. I have less than 90 games played, and I've completed 32 games. By no means do I consider myself an achievementhunter, but I do go for them specially the games I like. So really, this guys hasn't accomplished much other than play a ton of games. You didn't accomplish anything buddy.
In what way do you restore trust by fixing a horrible ending to be sub-par? In what way do you restore trust by putting out an unfinished product, and then fixing it 3 months later, when everyone bitched about it like crazy. You think they would have fixed the ending if it were up to them? lol of course not. And guess what, the ending still makes no sense in terms of the things Shepard has accomplished in this trilogy as opposed to the choices he has in the final 10 minutes of the game. Biowa...

I think the problem is that Americans are never the bad guy in any video games... Which is kind of stupid in my opinion... You guys remember a few years back when Medal of Honor had to change the online enemy names from the Taliban because of the public outcry of people in America?

I think Halo3 was probably more anticipated. Halo4 is got a lot of hype for this year though.
I'll tell you what it really means... It means Activision screwed up Diablo3, and then realized they did... And now they want to sell the company... Sounds about right -_-
This is the worst list I've ever seen... Half of those games are nothing more than average. X360 might not have too many new exclusives, but the older ones were fantastic... and none of them are even listed here.
