Picked up a legendary Maliwan with no charge delay, red tag is “This is your champion” from the Eridian slot machine. The fire rate starts slow but progressively gets faster by the end of the clip. I actually think it’s quite powerful and tears through enemies. However, I wouldn’t touch Maliwan otherwise. They really did butcher their weapons. Though I wonder if it was deliberate as they are also one of the antagonists in the game.

I think Gears 5 simply joins the upper echelon of pristine visual games already out in the last stage of this generation. You can’t push much further without sacrificing performance or visuals (vice versa) for anything now. You need new tech, next gen systems will push out visuals like this but with a far more dynamic gameplay and environments.
I'd pay for a Switch Pro, give me >docked performance on a slightly larger 1080p OLED, Tegra X2, 128GB storage, bigger battery, glass screen and premium build quality. Really want high quality performance and visuals in portable mode. They haven't give us that choice yet.
Would kill for a next-gen Pixar like Banjo Kazooie reboot, no Nuts & Bolts crap. No blocky designs! Make it bigger with more secrets, everything to scale and no load screens would be amazing. Imagine flying over the barriers around spiral mountain to go wherever you want! Treasure Trove Cove could be an ongoing pirate battle (Sea Of Thieves references galore) etc.

Hoping to see some AC Odyssey but with the population density of Unity, really keen to see the AI improvements and streaming limitations alleviated too.
The whole trailer was nasty AF, horrible editing, broken audio mix. Captain America and Thor’s physiques were so off, they looked like fat rectangles. Every gameplay piece looked so scripted and broken to the point that it was like they were hitting a “play animation” button for each movement.
