Hahahahahhahaha nice! That took me a second to figure out
I thought it would just be an update or DLC to the game? No discount for owning Skyrim already? Shouldn't have to pay that much for VR support, seems like a rip off.
Hopefully we get TES VI next year now that Bethesda has cleaned their slate.
Really hoping this is good, combat looked a little wonky in the gameplay previews, but I'm certain the feedback they've received at E3 will gear their attention towards rectifying it.
Even if they're the same resolution and FPS, parity will be impossible, simply because one system will always have more power and always be more stable running titles. In addition, there are other graphical effects that might be dialed up on one system compared to the other. Doesn't mean games are gonna look bad on either system, people just whine a lot. This gen has had so many pretty multi-platforms, you never really "lose".
Wait til you hear about "Real 4k", bringing the best picture quality to UHD screens, using a native pixel count render through advanced software processing to emulate the 4k format. Nothing is realer than "Real 4K".
*last line must be read with EA sports guy voice.
Jesus, that's the launch size too, imagine post-dlc, I'm kind of shocked they didn't include 2TB HDD as the standard for X1X, seems like it needs it for those who don't have an external HDD.
I forgot to add that they've somehow picked the most epic music composition to suit the sequences, that deep monk chanting stuff is just awesome.
This games is so dope, whenever I go back to it, I always have so much fun. Just waiting for that PS4 Pro support to continue.
A little OT but I don't see many movies or video games capture the overwhelming enormity of monsters, but when Jormungundr rose out of the water and his voice shook the earth in that preview I got chills. It gives such an awesome sense of terrifying dread and that's why I love the GOW, no other titles really do that.
I also love how brutally tactile and responsive the combat is in this one as well, looks so satisfying to slash and rip monsters in half, so much deta...
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a next gen launch title exclusive, the ambition for the game doesn't seem feasible on current gen. I mean they did say shared open world, with seamless travel from planet to space to other star systems and planets. That's some Star Citizen s*** right there, and is going to require a lot more GPU and more importantly CPU power for it to work well. Or they could surprise the hell out of us and make a miracle happen.
Cringe.
Holy s***, I'm always amazed with the size of these video game teams. Honestly baffles me how so many people can be coordinated to make a product that is greater than the sum of its parts that feels so coherent and convincing of its world. Can't wait to play this.
"I'm not a fan of doing deals that hold back specific pieces of content from other platforms. You don't see that in the deals we've done with Assassin's and Shadow. We'll have a marketing deal on those, but I don't say, hey, I need some kind of Strike or skin somebody else can't play." Really respect Phil for his view on this. Holding back parts of a game for exclusivity to a platform is a deplorable practice and I hope to see it stop.
Seems like that will be coming next year. Bethesda really cleaned their slate this year by announcing pretty much everything but a new Elder Scrolls. Seems like a definite 2018 title, by then it would have been about 7 years since Skyrim.
The statue is 73CM tall, and they've made only 1,000 of them, that's probably how they've justified the price.
There's still a normal statue edition on the store for $219AUD
Edit: just saw the Kenway one is 55CM. Yeah it's a ripoff. Maybe there's gold on it? lol
No idea what they mean by it, I guess it might be cool if it's Borderlands/Destiny-esque sort of shared online.
Can't get in to bgegame.com for the Space Monkey Program. There must be so much traffic at the moment. Damn.
Shared online or play offline world was mentioned, curious as to what the gameplay will be like. The whole aesthetic they're going for looks amazing and refreshing. Can't wait to see in game graphics and gameplay.
I understand Phil's inference for VR and hope to see them eventually do something for the hardware down the line.
The tech's simply not there yet for the every day gamer, it needs a lot less cables, much less fiddling and higher resolution panels, the only thing you should be able to focus on with a VR headset is the details of the game environment.
As it stands, the screen and internal environment of these headsets are far too distracting and in...
Omg need.
