What if you want to game on your couch on a big screen?
Good sales. Now all they need is more indie titles, a mod workshop for all supported games and the ability to use a single account from multiple systems simultaneously and they'll have caught up to Steam's functionality.
Well, some games do AI better than others.
Hitman: Blood Money had a really good AI system especially with the amount that were on the screen. Granted, you never had an ally follow you around and do stealth.
For most interactions, though, I think they responded quite realistically on the harder settings.
In Hitman if you did knock something over or bump into someone repeatedly like a retard they would react to that.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but I would score it 9/10 only because of the AI issues. Otherwise, Spot on.
Not surprising at all.
Don Mattrick told everyone who didn't have internet that they have a solution: The Xbox 360.
People without internet when out and bought the Xbox 360.
Dang this post was prophetic:

The great and wise Sega Saturn really knocked it out of the box on this one.
"Not really it's an ok game. I plan on changing my name soon anyways."
Dude, I'm sorry but you're just not cut out for the SDF with that kind of bipartisan attitude.
Even Windows 8 didn't have the respect of Microsoft, which is why they used Windows 7 to power their games at E3, lol
Well, I mean, it's still being worked on and stuff in its alpha... so it's not finished yet. In its finished form they said it would be DRM-free, but they still have to work the kinks out (DayZ's standalone will be the exact same way in its early alpha phases as well).
In one of the versions I played of Edge of Space it was possible to play it offline. I imagine to keep down on hacking and other problematic features they're using the server/client infrastructu...
No, it wasn't unknowingly...we were all well aware of the crap that they tried putting on us and the industry they tried to kill with greed.
I wonder if a single tear was shed by the Kotaku writer?
You just forfeited him his Gawker money to buy a bagel in the morning.
The game is still in early access. I just hope there aren't pitchforks and torches thrown their way over this issue. I also hope that Handyman has it setup where you can play offline in the final version.
If you already own the game before it landed on Steam you could play it offline, in fact, when their main servers were down the only way you could play the game was via local network play, which didn't require you to be connected to the internet.
But Microsoft already has two online stores like Steam:
Games on Demand and Games for Windows Live.
I think that's why people were so angry with them because Microsoft has already shown that they're nothing like Valve despite already having various digital distribution portals.
The thing is, if they treat their customers like crap with their existing digital distribution stores, why would they suddenly get consumer friendly with a more restri...

Awesome, thanks for that list. I didn't know so many Kickstarted games were coming to consoles. That's really exciting news.
Are there any Kickstarted games actually coming to next-gen, though?
There are a lot of indie titles that get Kickstarted but it would be nice to see them on consoles.
Almost forgot about this game. Good to see they're still updating it.
Since any dev can register to become a PS4 dev without needing a publisher or a whole lot of money, it should be easy for Bohemia to get signed on.
The only downside might be the patching, because they're going to have to patch this game a lot to get it in working order.
Hmm, the library organization is almost fine as it is (I love having my games displayed with large icons as it gives me the feeling of a kid roaming through a game store to choose a game to play)
But I do agree that they need better, faster and more quality customer support.
Wow, I can't believe this wasn't approved sooner. This is great news and it's awesome Volition is working so closely with the modding community.
