The difference is noticeable, buuuuut...
To make the example more, true to form I would have taken a character model (or whatever example visuals you wished to display and compare) and ramp up the textures, polys and resolution of the 30 fps version to make it fair, as those are often the trade-offs for the decreased frame rate.
My twenty eight cents.
Yeah, talk about learning from your mistakes and taking constructive criticism to heart.
Kudos Sony.
Well not just PS4 "fans," but almost anyone in general, I would imagine, who, as you have said, know literally NOTHING solid about the console.
And wide praise for the PS4 vs no concrete info and worrying rumors as well as missteps by certain Microsoft former-employees...
Well what can we expect to be people's reaction?
I believe celebrations are in order...

Probably have to be on PC I guess... I know most games these days revolve around "shooting" of some sort.
A little sad, but maybe someday... someday...
Well they have a little app for ipad called Jurassic Park builder I've been fooling around with, but they could obviously do so much more with more powerful machines.
A sort of dino-safari game that lets you take-in the grandeur of, well, dinosaurs!
If they were to make one... I actually think it SHOULD NOT be a shooter of any sort, outside of having perhaps a tranquilizer gun of some sort.
Make it some sort of interesting dinosaur park simulation game. Get into the uncovering fossils, the science behind their resurrection and so on. Just a visual experience with interesting gameplay based upon something other than killing stuff for a change...
But if they absolutely have too... I will merrily waste some...
Maybe not consoles... but games, there are more than I can count these days.
Multiplayer-only games
Multiplayer-focused games
Always-on protected titles too
Browser-based games
All the necessary patches it takes too to get games running smoothly.
It's a messy internet connected world that's for sure.
Actually, I'm not sure about the ENTIRE body, but you can look down and see your legs from about thigh downward when crouched. Maybe a little torso? But not too sure.
I'm with you though on The Last of Us, really next level stuff, the epitome of this generation in my opinion.
I really think people will be surprised by how fluid and interactive they have been able to make their games now. A kind of seamless ballet of movement and gameplay that most ga...
Well said, my 3 GB HD 7950 struggles with the major grass levels in Crysis 3 all do to poor optimization, bugs. Doesn't matter what other settings I change, the grass movement itself is just buggy on my setup.
It's sad it takes so much power just to get some visual boosts which aren't MILES ahead of, as you stated, "6 year old hardware."
Only REALLY big differences are if you go the extra step and drop a thousand or so on a full gaming r...
I would wager that Crysis 3 does the MOST with the application of physics and such to their grass, but the other foliage in that game, namely bushes and such, are VERY run of the mill.
So far we are very much still in the "generation-now" in the grass department.
Hopefully that changes soon.
Hell one of the best examples of grass is still Metal Gear Snake Eater and that was on PS2!!!
Albeit lower resolution than tod...
More appropriate would be a sort of "internal" mental grin, not a real knee-jerker this one.
But whatever suits you Amigo
And ascii faces do not make your comments any more insightful, humorous, or otherwise poignant by the way. :0
I once saw Cage poor his cup of Venti, sugar-free, non-fat, vanilla soy, double shot, decaf, no foam, extra hot, Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha with light whip and extra syrup on a homeless man... and not bat an eye.
Small, but noticeable price cut so it looks appealing when compared to Micro and Sony powerhouse consoles and lots of great third party games as well as unique and well implemented first party games.
And secure AT LEAST a few AAA titles as has been stated.
And all this, I think, would be enough to stay afloat.
Ultra generalized response...
Here's one:
Microsoft's console will be made in a factory, have an operating system, be made of plastic, play video games and cost monies...
My crappy 6 GB i3 setup has a 3 gb hd 7950 and no, it destroys nothing...
(yes, I bought the card with the intent of getting an upgraded machine eventually)
Yes sir, but only for you, because you special.
Oh yeah, could you please point me to the Amazon link selling a "Titan Computer."
Thanks
Dare insult my PS4 by comparing it to a PC!
Blasphemy!
Time to choose sides people...
This war.... HAS BEGUN!
DUN DUN... DUN DUN... DUN.
Well I took SOME liberty with the pricing considering a TITAN is essentially USELESS without a PC to support it, so tack on a few hundred for even the CHEAPEST of other vital components and yes... you are well above 3x the cost.
Sufficient power supply
Case
MOBO
SYSTEM RAM
HARD DRIVE
Optical Drive (not essential, but PS4 and Box will have them)
