Seeing/hearing through walls makes it broken for me as well as no infected mode at all, they could have at least implemented a hardcore no seeing/hearing aid mode.
Have microsoft ever even demonstrated their cloud computing tech yet??
Updated... then upon replaying The Last of Us, it froze once and I encountered another glitch which required a reload of a checkpoint.
And another glitch with the (Semi-Spoiler Alert!!!akld3kjflDEER HUNTING SEQUENCEakldj;flakdjf)
Which also required a reload.
All occurred post-update.
Guess the big difference for me was that I initially CHOSE to get PLUS + because of all the great stuff it offered, not because it was REQUIRED!
But now, something which I would have bought anyway due to the great extras for so cheap has become REQUIRED... why wouldn't I pay for it?

I only ever opposed Microsoft's online requirements so much because of all the other "Downs" to the console along with it, i.e. proprietary h...
Maybe they are trying to actually change some things which may have actually been true in all the rumors... in the few months before launch and they haven't gotten to that point yet so they aren't gonna reveal anything until all the changes have been implemented.
Maybe ditching DRM stuff
Used games issues
Many of the other crappy things that may have been true
Getting their TV junk to run smoothly...
In the words of Marty Huggi...
I really like the controller in the picture
Whoopedeedoo... hollow game.
I'd pay to see that... wait, no... damn IT! That was their plan all along to make money off me...
Touché Mircrosoft, touché.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here, albeit a very dry, shaky and dessicated twig of a limb, but a limb nonetheless and give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt...
IF they think they can truly "surprise the world" (in a good way) it will have to be something to do with their cloud stuff I am guessing and it would have to show, essentially, that the computational benefits of having a connection to the "cloud" is like being a generation ahead of even this one...
Really a waste... they made some nice characters and interesting vistas, but you never get to really know any of them because it's all a one-shot deal.
Shoot, little else to do and then done.
And buggy to boot... texture loading crap.
Seriously... still? :)
Carmack might be somewhat of a genius and a household name amongst developers, but I'm still waiting for a great new game from he and his team...
What are they supposed to be working on these days?
REALLY wish RAGE had been full open world and long as hell.. what a let down.
No such thing as just "your" PC...
Majority of PCs, Laptops, et cetera are not powerful by any stretch of the word, not to mention when compared with the upcoming consoles or even last gen consoles.
Anyone can put PC components together and make a monster machine, but... that does little good when many don't have any interest in doing so and the vast majority of top tier games are being and have been releasing on consoles, so, people can stretch...
It's not a "fad" when something is almost unanimously agreed upon to be a certain way.
The majority of reactions were negative, not some snowball that gradually built up steam, it was almost instantaneously, gut-wrenchingly negative...
Hmm, simple and intriguing. Perhaps a bit visually underwhelming when you consider what we are all used to, but very effective.
Reminiscent of the Heavy Rain origami motif.
So I know exactly shi$ about developing video games, but somehow my primitive brain is able to deduce that video memory with high speed equals betters...
And more terafloppers is betters...
Durf..... durrrr
Well... Apart from the truly ugly design, Japan might, ironically, be able to make the most use of this with their hyper-speed internet connections. Who knew Microsoft would find a way to appeal to the Japanese gaming market.
Got that right... only thing I can really think of, sadly is.. that "Slender Man" game...
http://slendergame.com/down...
My only thought, is it confirmed 1080p?? Last I read, it was going to be 720p 30 fps but I may be thinking of Battlefield 4 at 720p 60 fps...
Anyone remember exactly?
Thanks
This gen it should be more feasible than ever before, give players other things to keep themselves occupied gaming-wise. Crafting things, collecting, building, performing actions with more far reaching as well as personal and lasting effects. Essentilly blend the first and third person games with the essence of more strategic games generally absent on consoles.
