1) Playstation online has worked flawlessly for me since day one, the difference between this fact and whether or not your personal 360 has died is that whether PS online is "crappy" is not substantiated by evidence as with the 360's statistically derived 60 percent failure rate, just fan boy claims.
2) I enjoy the games, end of story; and I'm in the Killzone 2 beta which lives up to the hype so that's shot down.
3) Your friend's PS3 was one of the 2-4 perc...
I think McCain might take him, but I support the O.
Oh, it comes on multiple discs for 360...well just get up and swap them out every couple of hours... I actually enjoy swapping discs, it's more fun that way!
Oh, you got the RRoD, just send it in to Microsoft every time it happens as long as you're under warranty... isn't unreliability exciting, it's like you never know when your system is going to conk out on you, it's thrilling!
We have avatars now and paying for online play is enjoyable, not having a web browser i...
Certain games' visuals cannot be rightly judged from still images; Killzone 2 utilizes motion blur effects that do a lot where blurry textures are concerned and is only noticeable when motion images are viewed, not stills.
The Path of Neo from PS2 - bullet-time, wall run, slo-mo jump dive action with God of War button smash door openers...?! Right?
...an R.E. slut... :)
What an amateurish and immature point of view... as if after round one in a boxing match you've decided the winner. That's something only a short-sighted person would come up with... to quote, "don't get me wrong," the article doesn't really bash and is written well enough, but lacks any depth or evidence to support a groundless opinion.
Look at that crap on -->

the screen shot in post 5788, lazy ass devs didn't improve the flock formation of those birds as all!
You're absolutely right; nitpicking and bashing are two different things and I think most agree that the flame effect is a little weak only compared to the rest of the awesome visuals.
At least it doesn't look like the flamethrower from Haze, thank God.
In the twelve videos from earlier, the flamethrower effects are the only ones I'd like to see improvement on... right now they blow, but the weapon itself looks freaking incredible as does every other part of the game... I guess that's why those fire effects seem "lesser" because they have to stand up to all the other visually spectacular elements.
I bet GG has individual sub-teams for different aspects of the visuals and it must be difficult to have to get one team get...
Of course it is! Xbots say so and if your console didn't have a failure rate of sixty percent, an SKU that lacks an HD or a next gen optical disc format and only "under performs" in a single region then your console is doing horribly... it's common sense!
A proper Medal of Honor game would be sweetness, back in the day they really new how to make an fps with a story.
- musical score used to be amazing (European Assault was my favorite MoH game)
Who knows, maybe a MoH game set in modern times is what they need to start fresh...
the following: (I'm in the beta and I'm sure the way the weapons work will be pretty similar)
The shotgun needs to have a more "visible" impact beside the, albeit visually spectacular, but insubstantial dust cloud when it hits, i.e. a slight "Hollywoodish" knock the enemy back kind of effect would not be remiss.
And it wouldn't hurt the "realism" GG is shooting for by introducing at least one less practical and more fun type of weapon at...
Damn it! I just sh ti myself again...damn you Sony!!!
It's called C4, that'll open the baby right up...
Well, since the 360 came out a year ahead of the rest I would expect it to be vastly further ahead in every other arena, but it ain't... so 360 loses; What, what's that? I don't care if this isn't a contest, I'm turning it into one, comma, comma, comma, period.
After playing for about two to three hours you (at least for me) will feel completely comfortable with the control scheme (game controls), which differ slightly from CoD 4 and in my opinion are a slightly inferior setup...the crouch button mapped to L2 is a pain to try and hold down for extended periods (literally, it cramps your hand up)... everything else about it is superb and I'll never touch CoD 4 or World at War again...
See if there are any last minute contests floating around, that's how I got in; just dumb luck really and I had no expectation to really win and boom, my code was there!!!
I just got my key like two days ago, played it a bunch and then stopped because I've got tons of school work to do (I know, on Thanksgiving, sheesh) and figured since it was going to end on Sunday I might as well give a friend a glimpse of it so I logged it in and downloaded it to his PS3 and it worked, but now, like I figured, it won't work on my PS3 anymore and I never would have done it if I new they were gonna extend the deal and now neither of us can use it because we tried switching bac...
I'm all for Sony, but I just don't get why (other than costs) Microsoft would refuse to utilize HD DVD drives in their units even if the format were to fail, which it may not have had Microsoft had included it in their console... they wouldn't be in this situation. That, or they really do plan on releasing another console soon.
