Because the more they turn this into a hodge-podge film of remotely similar Dragon Ball elements the easier it will be for me to pretend it has absolutely nothing to do with the series and thus make it possible to again sleep at night.

Can anyone confirm that you CANNOT load a cleared game and keep all your stats from the previous game for a second playthrough?! I totally thought you could, but it doesn't seem to be that you're able to!

First off, you may never get a true example because if they had to make a downgraded version it may, for that very reason, not be made; but for the sake of argument:
If MGS4 were to go to the 360, the audio would almost certainly have to be compressed (poorer quality) in order to even HOPE to get all the data on a single DVD, not to mention other concessions in the ways of graphics.
That is one example, there will be more, assuredly, in the coming years.
I just think it's amazing that PS3 multi-plat titles look anywhere near as good as 360 versions considering they are A YEAR BEHIND IN DEVELOPMENT KNOW-HOW...JEEZ! They look close to 360 counterparts and the devs had a year less time and more complex architecture...that, I believe says everything all on its own.
Just imagine what devs will do with PS3 four or five years in!!! Only Xbots seem to be so short-sighted, "Ohhhhh, stop talking about what the PS3 is 'capable of' and ...

Dude, trade em...I was just like you until I needed cash for new games and I just sucked it up, thought which game/s have I not touched for six months or more and PROBABLY won't touch again if great games keep coming out at the rate they have been and pick that game to sell...if you can't get more than five bucks for it, then screw it.
If even your enemy (Microsoft dev) admits that you've got something special on your hands only a week or so after its release (something worth competing against), that really says something about your product.
That truly objective review scoring is based primarily on quality of production values and implementation of those values as it pertains to the a given game; it's not whether YOU personally would enjoy it that places it with "top tier AAA titles like LBP...," or why they receive high scores irrespective of PERSONAL tastes for games.
I think this is something all so-called objective reviewers should aspire to do.
So 360 has sold more units in Japan than the PS3 has...finally, after a year head-start they've finally sold more than the total number of PS3s sold in Japan to date?! I always new they could do it...

Incredible, just hope they make the game long enough and varied enough; even amazing graphics like these could get boring if the action is dull or repetitive, but nothing boring or repetitive was displayed here!
As good as it was, I was slightly disappointed; if it was supposed to be the last MGS game (with Snake as the protag) then I expected there to be loads of extras, but instead there's only a slight trickling of new unlockables every now and again from Konami.
I expected to play as Raiden, Vamp, B and B squad members, et cetera, but all I got was the solar gun and and great looking character and weapons models and animations: fire was ugly, little destructibility, et cetera.
