what i'm trying to say is the ps3 has a lot of games and you are bound to find something good on it. i always hear people who love their 360's or whatever but say stuff like "theres nothing on the ps3 that interests me." you have to try out games and see if you like them. i would've never liked final fantasy, the metal gear solid series, battlefield and some other games if i hadn't given it a chance and what do you know, i think they're all great games. why miss out on games s...
good review. i would give it an 8 as well.
i liked the single player a lot, but i was disappointed on how treyarch ripped off a lot of segments from movies. for example, that vendetta level was a blatant take off of enemy at the gates with the whole sniping and stuff.
other than that, the single player was pretty good except for the enemy respawn.
wouldn't a standard HDD make a substantial difference for an MMO? i remember ND saying the blu-ray and HDD combo makes a big deal for game development for them as the HDD works as a system cache and the blu-ray holds a lot of data (duh).
also, wouldn't mag be a MMO? i mean 256 players in one room is nuts but the ps3 has pulled it off. where are these type of MMO's for the 360?

don't see how you wii/360 fanboys say stuff like that. ps3 is allotting a lot more triple A games than any competitive console at the moment. i guess people want to root for the underdogs since sony has pretty much owned gaming the last couple of generations.
yeah the color saturation and lighting makes a big visual difference to the game. also the weapon models look better and the camera sways a little bit. i think IW actually added some weight to the movement as well.

lol it's true, you have to use lag to be good in MGO which is why i didn't care for it too much. man, MGO had so much potential.
i don't know about odst. i understand why halo 3 had some high scores because at the time FPS gaming standards weren't as high as they are now, but ODST looks like the same dated halo 3 game. then again, it is an expansion of halo 3 so it makes sense.
i'm going to wait for halo reach to get back into halo.

well with the way the game has been received by gaming critics, it looks like the sales card is the last thing a person could do to derail uncharted 2 and even then i think it will have solid sales like the first one.
true GOTY contenders will be between ps3 exclusives and mulitplatform titles with the 2 halo games thrown in just to be fair. i think ps3 wins 2009.
no one cares about the sales of this game. we all know it's going to be amazing but sales are an afterthought. people who play the sales card are the ones who are defending a game that they feel as though there is not enough merit of value in the quality of the game itself.
