note to newcomers of the series: PLAY THE METAL GEAR SOLID GAMES IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER!!!!
MGS3
MGS1
MGS2
MGS4
of course there is metal gear solid portable ops (right after mgs3) and soon peacewalker which is after portable ops, but those games will do enough.
i would include mg1 and mg2, but i never played them and i just went to wikpedia to feel in the blanks for the story.
trust me people, the game will have more of an...
wtf? i bought this used for like 40 bucks a few months ago and they've already dropped it down to 20 bucks new? in all my years of gaming, i honestly don't remember publishers lowering the prices of games so quickly.
good point sev, we should all buy it so maybe sony will tap into this kind of ps2 remake market.
i use to like milfina from outlaw star a lot when i was younger. fantasies are crazy.
"Hey, Rikku has a great ass! You can see it gloriously rendered in CGI when you first encounter her in the game."
so you're part of that 1 out of 10 people huh? lol
would be pretty awesome if it came true but i highly doubt it. sounds like a lot of work and red tape with the publishers. if this does happen however, then i might pick up every single one of them.
note: horribly written article. i don't have the best linguistic writing skills, but i felt like a scholar after reading that.
the god of war games gets a ps3 port and all of a sudden we think everyone is going to start doing it too. this only happened because thousands of people recommended the gow games for the ps3's collectors edition.
i can see a possibility of sony willing to port classic ps2 games if the god of war collector's edition sells well, but i doubt this will be a new trend of them.
it would be nice if it was a one time install only but that's not the case for MGS4. it requires you to install the game every next chapter and sometimes it can be annoying. in this case, i would actually prefer to disc swap but those 2 mins aren't the end of the world.
however, a one time install would be even better.
360 and ps3.
an FPS MGS? i heard he had an idea for it a while ago.
well i was out at buffalo wild wings hanging out with some friends and family for my birthday and a gamestop is right across from the street and so i figured i would buy myself something for the hell of it.
i ended up getting uncharted used since i heard so many great things about the game and i loved the demo. shortly afterwards, i went home and got to the part in the game where you're underground in the caverns or something and it suddenly froze on me.
my first t...
what a coincidence. i just posted a couple of hours ago on my psn stating "3.0 freezing ps3" and sure enough it was the reason. i just bought uncharted today and played for about 20 mins of the game until it froze. i popped in dead space afterwards and it froze too. i knew that update was going to cause some kind of problems. patch is needed ASAP but atleast i can play bad company.
i hate to dictate kojima's story telling, but i honestly think i could've made the ending to mgs4 a little better.
here's the scenario:
snake is at the tomb stone ready to kill himself. he's staring at the boss's tomb stone for a little bit reminiscing his past experiences until big boss unexpectedly shows up. the cutscene that happened between snake and big boss would remain the same so there's no need for me to fully explain what happens.
anyways, ...
quit jerking yourself off, it's not funny.
played both the wet and dirt 2 demo and out of either of them, i would only recommend dirt 2. wet was decent and unique, reminded me of a tarantino movie; but i wouldn't even say it's a rental. i'm sure the whole game's worth is in the demo itself. dirt 2 on the other hand was stunning. everyone needs to get that game or atleast download the demo.
maybe it will be the next socom game. i remember even before confrontation was announced that there was a rumored socom 4 (with single player) that was going to be released soon. i think this matches up with the indications from the article as it stated it being an improvement (in which confrontation needs) and its a proven franchise. who knows, maybe it will have some of the tech and assets from the eight days game.
i don't mind qte if it's executed correctly. god of war is one of the first few games that i recall first using qte was god of war and at the time is was pretty awesome because for the most part most developers didn't use it. but now that is has been an overused gimmick like bullet time, i can see why it can be pretty annoying and cheap to see it all the time.
however, indigo's prophecy was not a typical game; from what i've seen on youtube, it's pretty unique and heavy rain ...
do people really have a zombie fetish? game is fun, but why are some so obsessed with it?
this will be the first ratchet and clank game i've bought in a long time. i think the last one i ever bought was going commando which was awesome.
i still think up your arsenal is the best one, but this looks like the ratchet that i've been wanting for a long time (more neon-lit cities)
