i used to be a big ass fan for counter strike, but valve really needs to make a new FPS akin to counter strike. just imagine how awesome it can be now.

lol you guys who haven't played MAG need to try it out first. the 256 players online isn't the only thing that makes MAG good. with that being said, i still have MAG as my most anticipated FPS for next year with battlefield bad company 2 as second. bad company 2 has a more realistic sense of battle on the field (pun intended) with nice crisp graphics and gunplay whereas MAG focuses on teamwork and leadership that you won't see in any other game (being a squad leader was pretty cool.)

i agree. i used to hate bad company since i was a huge fan of battlefield 1942 and battlefield 2 on the PC, but the game grew on me and i like it a lot now. you need to give the game a second chance like i did, it's a great game.
second most anticipated game after MAG. i love the graphics and sound of this game. NOTE TO EVERYONE: GET A FULL SURROUND SOUND SETUP FOR ANY BAD COMPANY GAME.
just goes to show that gamespy prefer games of lower and mediocre standards. i don't see how NGS gets a 5/5 and not MGS4. halo 3 gets away with a god awful single player, a pretty standard-fare multiplayer mode, dated graphics, and it somehow gets a 5/5.
sony, if you want perfect scores, i guess you're going to have to hold back on the quality and polish you put in your games because it seems like too much goodness is a bad thing while average and generic games (gears of war) c...
i'm in the beta and i love it aside from some balancing issues and bugs. this game is going to be huge or at least deserves to be. the menus, the matchmaking, the division of squads, being a squad/platoon leader (i did one match as a squad leader last night and it was bad ass giving orders and FRAGO objectives, the skill points, respec; everything is just really damn good.

i think the servers should run on the weekends but maybe zipper uses those two days to analyze a lot of reported bugs in the latest build. i really hope the next beta phase doesn't have a huge ass update.
i agree, you guys should be excited for MAG. i'm in the beta and i just got my personal best match last night of 40-14 (you really can't get COD stats on here so this is actually really good.) the game is phenomenal aside from an ass load of bugs in domination and some balancing issues such as attacking in the acquisition mode (DAMN BUNKERS!).
MAG is the only FPS i really want to play right now and if you guys play it, i'm sure you will see what i mean.

sorry, graphics are nice and there are improvements for MW2; but this is the same crap as cod4. i guess mag has left a bad taste in my mouth for cod.
yes, cod has an obscene amount of aim assist. i've seen killcams of snipers who get headshots off of me without the scope ever being zoomed anywhere close to my body. at first i though it was latency (which could be a mixture of that too), but cod's aim assist has to go for such close range maps.
mag is the only game where i felt like the aim assist is suitable because the maps are so freaking huge. my only complaint about mag is how a sniper can get butt f***** from a guy who...

wow, this psp minis thing might be a good thing after all. these look like some fun games. now i need robotron and smash tv on that mofo and i'll be set.
its actually 16v16 but theres only 8 real players, the rest are bots. the 4 players are divided into 4 groups of 4 player squads where the real player is in control of the 3 other bots in their squad. its like socom except you have 3 other squads to aid you in battle.
the PC version has true 16v16 however so thats the better option.
how about the Sony Wavestick or WaveSphere?
maybe Wavestix to be fancy.

demo is fun, i like it. kind of reminds me a RPG or something. i did notice some pretty annoying screen tearing however. graphics are nice but sometimes it's visually hard to tell what's going on.
been playing MAG for the last two days and i didn't feel like going back to cod4 after the servers were closed. this looks good but it doesn't look as fun as the experience i've had with MAG. maybe i'm just ready for a new FPS and tired of COD.

hey! me and my folks watched some good three stooges on my 40 inch LCD in the living room with full surround sound. PC is better overall, but the ps3's browser and my set up has it's perks. it's also another web browser i can use for whatever reason that i can't access my normal PC.
i agree with statix, it doesn't take a long time to get matches started or atleast it shouldn't. it probably takes me less than a minute or a max of 2 minutes to get a game running and in the mean time i'm usually messing with my armor or checking out my stats.
i don't see how you guys can not like it but i guess it's different strokes for different folks. no biggy, i'm getting both. i just think you guys are missing out, especially you guys who barely ranked up and haven't ...
