i'm not surprised by this score. this game is more hardcore; it's not as user (or noob) friendly as games like call of duty or halo (not that its a bad thing.) i'm getting this on PC, but i'm sure this will have a pretty good fanbase for those who like realistic shooters such as myself. besides, i've seen one or two 9+ scores for this game already so maybe it's not as bad as we think.
some of you guys sound a little emotional about this. its like MU and KU fans going at each other in here lol.
anyways, some of you fanboys need to really think about the more important things in your life besides games. when you realize that, then seeing games getting a high score shouldn't bother you as much.

been playing the co-op mode for the uncharted 2 beta and i finally started using those riot shields in co-op arena. they really add a tactical immersion to the game that i never thought i would've had with them before. i'm sure MW2 will make those riot shields really feel like you're protecting yourself and your teammates like uncharted 2 does.

i was expecting more from the trailer based off of all your guy's responses. seems just like a glorified and dramatic trailer but nothing too amazing.
it will be a toss up between MW2 and uncharted 2. i'm mainly interested in MW2's single player as i know it will be amazing just like the first one, but the online is going to be put on wait for me until maybe next year. i think uncharted 2 might pull GOTY if the story overshadows MW2's multiplayer gameplay since the characters are very engaging and you really feel a sense of consciousness between drake and co.
something i noticed about demos over the years is that sometimes they cut out bits and pieces of the cutscenes which can make a big difference as far as the story telling goes. compare the batman demo to the full game. the demo's cutscenes were neutered to death yet when you played the full game, the scenes were just perfect.

downloading the ratchet demo first. clank is a cool robot but i don't like his gameplay segments as much as ratchet's.
i wouldn't pay more than a buck for this. i can play some free flash tetris game on the web for free with online play. if this had some good content and an online mode, maybe this wouldn't be so bad. EA is stupid to price this so high.

i disagree. the bad company series is awesome indeed but they're still not on the same page as the PC battlefield games and i think MAG has more of a resemblance to battlefield 2 than bad company 2 itself.
i guess you still have to compensate multiplatform games as a reason why the 360 is better. funny thing is that the ps3 gets the multiplats and exclusives you just wish you had.
also, when you get a game that looks as good as killzone 2, then you can say these 3rd party devs are putting more work into their games than sony's first party studios.
