everyone being addicted to noob games this gen is starting to get annoying.
warhawk has split screen and honestly its the only reason why i have the game now. the demo was addicting as hell, but once you buy the game, you realize the best thing about it is it's split screen mode.
i really hope starhawk/warhawk 2 has a lot more variety in the next game.

i'm freaking sick and tired of mario. i've been around since his inception and all i see is him being whored out for any type of gimmick out in the planet. i think he has literally been in over 100 hundreds of games.
for me, mgs needs to continue just a little longer. i think mgs1,mgs2, mgs3, and mgs4 are the main titles of the mgs series and the rest are just spin offs (even though portable ops is canon.)

i'm still surprised and revealed new stuff about MGS4 to this day on each playthrough. the amount of detail, length of the single player, excellent story writing and scripting, the easter eggs and cameos, the gameplay, the weapons and items, and just about everything in MGS4 (aside from the multiplayer) is sublime and perfect and i honestly have a hard time believing ND ha...
i think the deeper contrast range and more saturated colors makes killzone 2 a non-brown looking game. most stages are brown, grey, and dark; but compare it to the vekta cruiser and it's like a night and day difference.
not only that, look at the red smoke flares or the purple mist made when using the repair tool. the neon-lit green lights on electrical equipment and on the ammo crates also add a nice contrast. the blue aura emitted from your medical gun also stands out.
the game has to be somewhat original to stand above the rest. i can't think of any other platforming TPS out in the market either.
whatever the case is, there better be some strict standards and criteria when reviewing games for now on if games like killzone 2 and uncharted 2 are going to be knocked around for lacking "originality," despite having it.
i better see some criticism for modern warfare 2 because that game really isn't that all different from MW...
funny thing is that some of those games aren't that great. battlefield 2 on the 360 is NOT the same battlefield 2 on PC. its terrible. dues ex: invisible war was ok but is nothing compared to the first one. half life 2 on the xbox SUCKED compared to the PC version. counter strike on the xbox SUCKED compared to the PC version.

i doubt L4D would come over to the ps3, but it's possible. i know i wouldn't buy it personally; i might rent it or something. i just got bored of it from playing it a few days on my friend's 360 when i borrowed it.
mass effect, on other hand, is a series that i love and wouldn't mind seeing on the ps3. i could play it on the PC (just like the first one), but i would rather play it in the convenience of my nice big tv and surround sound.

just got done playing halo 3 online today for the first time in years and man i couldn't believe how boring it was. i'm not trying to start anything even though it sounds like it, but the online to that game was more stale than i remembered. FPS online gaming definitely has improved, thats all i can say.
it's probably going to stay on the PC. i can't see planetside competing against MAG on the ps3.
that guy quoted a famous mistranslated text from a RTS game. in the game, the general was saying that he has control over all of the enemy's bases, but a bad translation of it has made it a popular line amongst gamers like the word "noob" or the konami code.
playing the sales card is honestly the only thing you can pull on the ps3 and even then they have good sales for good games.
ever since COD came around, nobody can't stop comparing a FPS to it. the funny thing is that the true hardcore flashpoint fans from the original will love this.
also, the PC version is definitely the better version to buy.
