Again, I've watched the 2 videos of KUF2 you have on blog site. Keep in mind, that what you're showing is the PC version!! Please again notice the key prompts that come up? (W,A,S,D)
Again, you're bringing an "orange" into an "apple" argument... I've believe ND & HHG were speaking of "CONSOLES" and NOT "PC's" (which can have more graphical, memory & processing power than both consoles-especially the 360).
As I've said a...
I thought I was the only one that happened too... WOW! That use to piss me off alot as well man!
To me it looks good but just more of the same as well. I will rent it, finish the single player, finish the co-op with friends and take it back. As good as I was at COD4, there were too many things that pissed me off about the multiplayer aspect of that game. I just don't want to go through that frustration again!
Just my opinion of the game... many will love it a play it...
Point taken... but personally, I believe some features would have to be held back due to some of the calculating power of the combination of the cell+rsx, unfortunately the 360 does not have that same kick in the pants power. From what I've read this combination method is a new technique only used on the ps3... and from what I've read, no 360 dev tool (at present) can apply this technique.
I'm mainly thinking of the helicopter scene on the roof & in the building with the plan...
although Super_Secret has been correct with all his information, I will wait for an official statement from EA to fully pass judgement! However, I do believe SS but I can't join the madness until I know for sure that it's confirmed.
So you're saying the 360 can handle the calculations the SPU's & RSX combined do on the ps3 (like the guy in the interview said) and handle all the physics (actions, enemies & other stuff) on the screen without any problems?
I'm not trying to be an @$$ or anything, I'm honestly just curious about your statement, that's all!
Thank you.... that explains alot!
I bought the Batman AA game yesterday (for the PS3) and I love the game and all but I just can't get over the graphics. It just has this look about it... It's funny, besides Bioshock, I can tell every time that a game has been made using the UE3... it's got this glossyish look about the graphics... it's hard to explain.
I don't own an 360 but I do wish for the sake of 360 owners that MS did spend some cash on a proprietary engine/tools for 360 devs, too get the most out of the ha...
I have never, in the couple years of visiting N4G.com/Gametrailers.com ever read so much positive comments about the Playstation brand! It almost brings a tear to the eye. I remember being ganged up on in the Gametrailers forums/article comments and reading all the PS3 hate here in the N4G forums/articles.... I always knew this day would come!
All I can say is WOW!!!
grenade spaming was everywhere! Now it's going to be twice as bad with this perk. I hope they at least make a hardcore mode that take out the perk system! Well... looks like I'll be playing alot more co-op than I originally planned.
I was soo hyped for this game and now I feel like ND popped my balloon! What a let-down!
to consumers outside of the U.S., so ask me why as a Canadian do I care... or my fellow consumers in Mexico, Europe, Asia & South America for that matter.
I'm might get it used maybe after the new year... I'll be happy with Uncharted 2 & Dragon Rising! I never actually plan on purchasing it. I was going to just rent it, but now I'll wait until the new year & get it for $40 on craigslist.org.
OpenSUSE does not require you to install drivers, I should have taken that one off the list that "requires you to install drivers".
Also this statement "90% of all Linux distros have support for 90% of the drivers out there."
Should read "90% of all Linux distros have support for 90% of the hardware out there."
My bad.
Every single Linux distro is REQUIRED by the license agreement to have a free version... so yes every single Linux distro IS FREE! You are allow to charge for Linux but the source code HAS to be made available for FREE!
BTW the ubuntu family of OS's... Fedora Core (free version of RHL)... OpenSUSE and Mandriva DO NOT SUCK and if you had experience with them you would know that! Did you know that it takes less time to install Ubuntu than it does WindowsXP/Vista... you don't have t...
That's some funny sh!t... that deserves a bubble, hear have one!
AWESOME response! And to add to that, back then (in the Win 95/98 days), all hardware vendors were blackmailed/forced into selling only Windows... if they didn't they would be penalized and would be charged more for every copy of Windows! The M$ reps would visit often to keep an eye on what was being advertise by OEM's.
I remember those days... it's was rough for any other OS's trying to tap into the mainstream market.
Great post, and I quote:
"No, they didn't buy themselves into the PC OS market, that was given to them by IBM.
And they've been doing their best to keep everyone else out ever since..."
To add to that, M$ did buy their way into the OS market... the first version of DOS was "bought out" from a programmer in Texas for $50,000.
And every other M$ product/technology was either "bought out" or "stolen" from others...
is that while Linux is cost focused, it is also QUALITY focused as well... keep in mind that Linux is more secure than both M$ & Apple and runs rock stable. So although Balmer didn't mention it, Linux's targeted audience is EVERYONE in ALL CATEGORIES... the only downfalls it has, is that it does not have as many features as the other 2 OS's and ISV (Independent Software Vendors) are afraid to support it.
Linux is aimed at keeping things simple... I guess that's why it's so se...
you would know that those prices actually reflect the OS + a support service subscription (e.g technical support), which M$ charge twice as much for their support subscription, and that's on top of the cost of the OS!
And to educate you sir, this is the free version of RH Linux...
http://fedoraproject.org/
BTW... it's the second most popular Linux distro...
I love your lemonade analogy LOL! Bubbles for you sir!
Just to note: I believe the PS3 needs the XB360, like Batman needs the Joker. One without the other will create an seriously flawed imbalance.
However, I've watched the 2 videos of KUF2 you have on your blog site and there's something I've noticed that I don't think you have. What you're showing off is the PC version there... notice the key prompts that come up? (W,A,S,D)
Unfortunately, you're bringing an "orange" into an "apple" argument... I've...
