stick will OpenOffice! It's very robust & I can open all documents formats know to man! Unlike the M$ counter part. Good luck trying open a .odt (open document format) file or a .wpd (word perfect document) file with your M$ Office.

Many governments & companies around the world still use both those file formats.

BUBBLES FOR YOU!!!

That's some funny stuff... I can't stop laughing!

It's obvious that all you know is M$ software!

I on the other hand have worked on M$ Exchange Sever, IBM Lotus Note/Domino Server & Zimbra Open Source Server and I would take a Zimbra (mail/calendar/contact server) over the other two, any day.

Here, open your mind and learn... there are other alternatives to expensive, problematic solutions!

I still haven't seen any proof that PS3 blu-ray GAMES (not online downloaded games or blu-ray movies) can be copied & and played!

@GameOn
I own several business' in Canada, U.S & Jamaica, so you can believe that my petty $1000 challenge is my life savings LOL!

Piracy on the PS3??? I love to see you prove that one! I'd be willing to pay $1000 if you can prove that PS3 blu-ray game discs can be pirated! LOL!

well see if the Draconian DRM is fake or not when we get our hands on the final release of Windows 7. I do have a sneaky suspicious feeling that M$ will ship it without the DRM, BUT have it as a mandatory update (in order to receive future updates, Windows Genuine Advantage anyone!), just like they did with XP.

I do agree with all your points in your "why do business people dislike Vista?" post!

I have migrated over 30% of my small business customers (100 d...

the fact that Windows 7 will have that Draconian DRM embeded in it, which will not allow you crack any software or rip music CD's or DVD/Blu-ray movies.

It's basically like having the software police looking over your shoulder while you use your PC. The kicker is that 80% of Windows users have at least one software item that is cracked runni...

wait until this thing goes live. You'll all be paying twice the amount to game... renting a game for 5 days? Can you even out right buy/purchase a game on OnLive?

Many gamers credit cards are to be going into overdrive!

And what about when you have network or server outages/downtime? There goes a portion of your rent time!

No way I'm going near this thing... I'd rather go with Valves Steam and an expensive rigg, at least the buck stops at purchasing game...

You are correct in regards to the lack of name brand hardware (Dell, Sony, HP etc.) technical phone support, BUT there is a wealth of online support all over the internet and in certain areas, there are IT support companies like the ones I own, that also support home linux users. To be honest linux has more support for hardware drivers than windows in a default install... with M$ you have to go all over the place to fine drivers, with linux it's build within!

As for downloading &...

and I LOVE IT! I use it for COD4, R:FOM & R2, Socom:Conf etc. With a regular PS3 controller I'm slightly above average, but with the FragFX I'm GOD LIKE and that's not an exaggeration! To me, it's actually better than a mouse & keyboard and that's saying a lot, since I've been a PC FPS/TPS since the late 80's.

Those who have owned one, need to play with the settings to get the right feel. Trust me when I say that when you get that perfect feel, your gaming experience wil...

I personally, just can't get use to these controls... for some reason you seem to have a problem with that?

Just like you, we are aloud to voice our opinions, but unlike you we don't attack people that actually like the controls. We aren't "moaning" as you put it, we are just giving our OWN opinions, you're not the only one with the right comment you know.

Since the game is so "piss easy" then you can buy all the copies we were going to buy and pl...

I didn't even finish the demo, I shut it off & deleted it immediately, after dying twice in the first room, from being jumped by a half a dozen fast moving zombies.

It's the first game in a long time that had my frustration level peaked in the opening level (demo). Usually, games get a bit frustrating at around a 1/3 playing into a game.

Personally, I'm not going near this one, my money is better spent else where.

I viewed this new feature earlier (when the site wasn't being hammered) & it's an awesome feature. I'll definitely using this feature a lot in the future!

Well starting Friday I will not be surfing the gaming websites as much & I'll be out of the loop for a while... I'll be way too busy playing Killzone 2.

should stay on the 360, it just doesn't make sense to have just a third instalment on the PS3 when the majority of the PS3 fans don't know what the story is about. Plus Microsoft is entitled to have exclusives just as much as the PS3.

I love the fact that I can change just about anything on my PC, at a high level & a low level.

that own a 360 (I don't) but all of them have their 360 modded and haven't paid for a game in at least a year. Them not having to spend money on games is one of the reasons they tease me about not owning a 360. Although all of them have had the RROD at least twice. A couple of them even have been caught & banned for it, but they just buy another & do it all over again.

In my area there are plenty of gamers that these 20 guys and their are quite a number of modding/piracy ...

It's easy for you to say that now. But put your feet in the shoes of one of the unemployed devs at Radical. What if it made such a difference that you didn't get the chance, not to invite them to your game preview sessions or to send them a preview copy of your next scrapped project... then what?

I'd be pissed as hell... that's for sure!

Great post, I'm a PS3 fan but I like your unbiased logic & truth about both services.

Also, you are correct about the Unreal Engine 3, while it's very easy to code for, the online net code uses a dated server/client topology and it's horrible. Once you're the host, you have an instant advantage. It boggles my mind why so many devs use that engine for online gaming... well actually I do... it's the cheapest solution in most cases.
