I'm not goint to say that "I've told you so" but I've always had this feeling that Nintendo has failed to mature along side their fanbase, and the Wii didn't do much to help their cause either.

Here's what I mean, over the ps1, ps2 and xbox years, the gaming audience has matured a bit and their taste in games they play have also changed, the average gamer is a bit older, living in a more technological world, and is more tech savvy then your ave...

Now as much as I hate to partake in the sales argument, im going to bite this once. A few questions for the author: 1) why would Sony do an aggressive pricecut on a product that is outselling its competitor on global scale?

2) why would sony focus more on the US market when MS is spending millions upon millions of dollars in the US market, to only marginally beat the ps3? I mean, as a gamer the only focus i need from a company is "games" and I get plenty of that fr...

It's kinda sad how the legit reviews gets no attention at all. It's like we've become so fickled and paranoid where we're constantly seeking out the obvious "haters" and "hit-seekers" that decent and legit reviewers are getting overlooked and not rewarded for their hard work. 95% of positive reviews never get more then 20 comments max. And yet we complain when trolls go negatives in their reviews.

I woulnt say they're scarred. But for sure nintendo is well aware of what a well priced and well built sony gaming product can do in the market. Ps1 Ps2 and Ps3 plus the psp are all examples of successful sony products. And with the vita looking so feature pack and the aggressive pricing, now is a good time for nintendo to right their wrongs. I mean the ps3 came from behind to obertake the 360. And thats after MS spending millions and billions for the 360. Nintendo wouldnt want to play th...

I apologize if my comments appeared to be on the extreme side, (I personally don't see the extreme of it, lol) but it's really not a biggie though how badly they rate KZ3, it was never going to be praised and get due credits because going way back to when KZ2 was first shown at E3, there we skeptics in the media, which is fine, (as a journalist of any sorts, skepticism is almost a requirement,) but KZ2 at the time of it's E3 reveal was way ahead of its time. which is why 'til...

(In my opinion) I think Sony knows for sure that the Gaming Media is already bought out (GT5, KZ2, UC the first one, Heavenly Sword) and all the countless games that were butchered in reviews for no apparent reasons other then they came out on a PS3. So I think their new game plan is to actually release Betas or demos for PS3 owners to see for themselves if a game is indeed a 6 or 7 out of 10 or is a much better experience then that. It work with UC2, GT5 which selling better with a less...

A SHOOTER, a shooter for Christ's sake " still depends heavily on the brutal impact of the SHOOTING at its core?" haha, ok I've really seen it all.

I'll text GG and tell them that Their SHOOTER, relies too much on SHOOOTING.

but the crysis vid you put up there is not the best representation of it, I thought the thing was glitching out for a sec, lol. And that's also where KZ3 tops them as well, not only does it uses the camera well, but gives you extras on top of that, like new meles, cover system, (fine tuned it as well) rag doll animation(ballet of death), jetpacks, you're own metal gear (kinda), and the bleeding edge graphics as far as consoles are concerned. And the lighting is improved upon as well....

In all Honesty, can someone please find me an in-game compilation of another FPS that comes close KZ3?

All the other FPS I have played, the gun is basically your head, as in, the only time your head moves independent from the gun, is when you're runing. But in KZ3, it feels like someone attached a camera to a real soldier's helmet and called it a game, as in, the animations is so close to the real thing, just wow.

And please, I'm serious ab...

I think the author was talking about the ashes of nearly 70,000,000 units sold.....that's a lot of ashes, I'm actually not sure they'll be able to rise through all that to be honest. that's also close to half of the number of ps2 sold as well, one could easily say that 1 in 2 ps2 owners owns a psp.

I think Sony would be ok with such a ratio.

But hey, don't let a few facts spoil this article.......carry on please.

Every Single NGP will be able to play online, whether that is via WiFi or 3G. Comparison to Xbox 360 arcade is not the same thing, As the 360 arcade had no harddrive for games that required installs, which isn't the case for NGP.

So if you're a mostly offline player, you get the cheaper non-3G version, which has WiFi and you can get updates and other stuff when connected. But if you're mostly an online player, then 3G is a no brainer. I don't see what'...

But this is why I've made the jump from Super Ninento Straight to a Playstation and haven't looked back since. same thing since the PSP came out. It just always feels like a safe bet to go with Sony, it feels like they always know what the core gamers want.

this gen, the guys on the other side got Kinect while we get move, plus NGP, as in now you can take your games with you and play online, even while camping, as long as you've got coverage. Sony is making i...

it's not raining as hard in the vid but the mist would still bring up water from the track and cars dont retain water at high speeds like that, they constantly shed the water off, as you can see when the car enters the tunnel, there's still mist from the wet floor and but also from the hood of the car.

Normally I would say STFU but I won`t. What I will is ask you a few questions, like, can you please explain to me how metal gets wet? because I can understand how a cloth would get wet, but not metal, since the water would just run off it. and also, can you please find me a footage of a real car, traveling at speeds of 150mph or more and somehow remains wet? if so can you point out the wet car for me from this vid? http:...

the first 100 people to buy a ps3 gets a Bravia, is a very good promo, nothing about it seems desperate. And for the Australia bravia promo, it's not just in Australia, and it's not just any Bravia TV, it has to be $2000 or more for the free PS3, as opposed to here, buy a $5.00 burger and get a product which cost 30 times more.

Are you reffering to the inabitily to "color your rims" and not having 1 out of 6 different camera views "EXTREME LIMITATIONS"? Listen man, I'm not gonna call you names, but I will tell you one thing I know for sure, You sir, was never a fan of GT since the original.

anyone who makes fun of Go-Karting (the backbone of every pro racer) don't know what they're talking about, Even MotoGP pros such as Valentino Rossi raced GoKarts before he got ...

I am going over the list right, and so far, in the first 100 down the list, they already cover 12 different car makers. Now I dont know if you've played any previous GT games before, but correct me if I am wrong, GT has the widest selection of car makers available to car enthusiasts. And when you go to buy a car you actually have to click enter the car maker's showroom and see how many cars they have and make your selection and so on.

also another thing that most peop...

all GT is trying to do is keep the proportion of cars in the game similar to real life. when you say 135 Nissan, Nissan make a plethora of different model of cars, from Versa to Sentra, to Skyline, Maxima, sedans, minivans, pick up trucks, and so on. And for your comparison to FM3's number of Ferrari's, A Ferrari in GT5 takes 6 months or more to make, and FM3's car's are nowhere near as detailed as any premium car in GT5. Also, if you look at real world Ratios, 135 Nissans to ...
