Thanks for the update Roah. I did notice the slow loading as well, but I just thought that since it's a beta, they'll probably optimize it run a lot quicker when it's all said and done.

The article doesn't mention this but I think this beta may only for North America. I'll have to look into that a little more.

Thanks for the Reply LionHeart

I think we'll agree to disagree for now. I feel if that if we're racing and you started a full lap ahead of me, but at the end of the race we're neck and neck, I don't see how it could be perceived that you outperformed me.

And as far as the sales argument goes, If the 360's install base in the US is double that of the PS3 yet they're neck and neck, then that also means that Somewhere else in the world T...

Hi Lionheart377

I read the article and you make some great points, which I agree with. But I was left scratching my head when you mentioned that the Xbox 360 has outperformed the PS3. I'm just wondering if you could elaborate on that a little bit more.

Because if we're talking in terms on sale, they are both neck and neck, but the 360 released an entire year earlier than the PS3.

And if we're talking games, I'd love to hear ...

I don't have any kids yet so I can't say I'll be buying it, but this is definitely great news for the people who do have kids and want to have family game night sort of things.

I'm also wondering if they'll push it include board games as well such as Monopoly, Sorry, etc...

And speaking of which, Capcom is already positioning themselves to be able to release more sequels by having smaller teams of developers working on titles. All this in order to shorten the interval between game releases.

I'm pretty sure that very soon, even their DLC releases will need additional DLCs.

@ CommonSenseGammer

"If the Vita performs poorly this xmas then quite possibly Sony will gradually drop it in favor of the stronger and more lucrative smartphone and tablet market."

I've been gaming way before Sony entered the Gaming Industry, And I've never witnessed Sony dropping support of any of their consoles. Matter of fact, history shows that Sony support their consoles the longest out of the Big 3, even when when the successor is a r...

Lol, I remember that I was as well. Me and friend of mine used to play it together (local co-op) and man was that game a lot of fun. You get sniper rifle and you can really watch heads and limps popping off.

Can't believe we actually enjoy the gore. We may need help, lol.

Yeah I'll have to go with manhunt as well. I first heard about that game when it had all the controversy surrounding it in the news and all. And I couldn't believe my eyes at the time...some really sick stuff.

@ Angels3785

I hear your points on the benefits of Multiplayer and I agree that it does add to the overall game, but only when the genre, theme and overall the gameplay complies with a Multiplayer atmosphere.

For Instance, if we take a Horror game like Resident Evil 5, where the genre is Horror, and the overall theme and point of the game is to create an atmosphere that makes the gamer feels as though he's very vulnerable. You can see how the atmosphere...

And here I thought that when you're getting ready to follow up a sequel or prequel for a game, that you'd need some feedback from fans and critics in order to trully know what worked and what didn't work too well.

But what do I know, I'm no Game Developer. But you don't really need to be one in order to realize that this move from Capcom is mainly motivated by profits. And I fear a lot of their franchises will become stale.

I hope I'm ...

Yes it is. A lot of FUD has been spread in the past few months regarding the console, and the only positive one can take away from it all is that unlike the ps3, they at least gave the Vita a 3 month Honeymoon period.

LOL @ Godchild1020 Below. good one.

I couldn't agree with you more on this Axonometri.

Especially in this day and age, where every other game is a FPS (I have can't recall the last time I felt really connected to a character in a FPS game for some reason.)

I think the majority of gamers still want their single player experience from the games they play. I'm shocked to hear that they're openly admitting that. But then again, I guess that leaves room in the market for someone else...

I love the voice David Hayter gives Snake. But reciting lines standing or sitting in a small recording studio is quite different then giving a believable performance on camera. And to be honest I really doubt that Sony is going to go with Hayter as Snake.

It takes more than voice and a familiar face to bring life to a character on screen. It takes years or failures and successes on screen before an actor can finally understand the nuances between themselves and the character...

I'm no expert in casting or whatever, but it's very odd to see so many people bash such a serious actor.

The Idea behind batman (theatrics to put fear into the enemy, learned from the League of Shadows) I Personally would have not enjoyed the batman movies as much if he used his normal voice when suited. The whole point of the suits and technologies used is to keep your identy as secret as possible, so meaning that your face, voice, weapons used, everything has to be...

Lol, I see why you're having problems understanding what I'm referring to. You're having the same issues with what YOU'RE saying as well.

The installation for MGS is 9 gigs, (and 8.5GB or so for GT5), that is not the full game sir. But since it's the same thing in your book, You go ahead an install them 40 discs, and I'll get the one bluray. By the way, didn't FF XIII already showed that even when linear, a big game is still an issue for the 360? ...

First they will all want to Borrow your crystal ball that allows you see so far ahead into the future. Given that we haven't even seen the game looks like on consoles.

And secondly, they will also tell you that YOU STILL NEED A PS3 to play MGS4. I mean, it's 2012 going into 2013, and you guys still sound bitter about the a game that came out in 2008. And 5 years later, you're still wondering.

I think what you should really wonder about is how man...

@J-blaze

Why are you in sooo much denial homie, that is actually very unhealty. It's a known fact to everyone else. You mean to tell me that you wake up, read all the facts about everyone else's "FIRST HAND ACCOUNT" with the game and yet you're "STILL" denying it?

You must know something we don't know. Can you please share it with us.

Are you really going to be "The Last Of Us" to admit that the...

Why would people cry themselves to sleep. As long as multiplatform development doesn't hinder the PS3 version of the game, then who cares.

Remember the reason why "Gamers" have a problem with multiplaform games is because 90% percent of the time they don't push the hardware, and just settle for the lowest common denominator. It's very disappointing to buy a more capable expensive console but to have most of it's game limited to a what another, less ...
