I dont work for SONY, so dont take my opinion as FACT. However, I do think that if anyone just pauses, and look at the big picture for a moment, they will see why SONY allowed for FFXIII to go multiplat except for JAPAN.

its a mistake to compare the ps3 with the Wii. Instead looking at it as the PS3 has a long way to go to catch up to the Wii, people should look at it as that, the Wii, has a long way to go to catch up to the PS2.
It seems like everyone's forgotten that SONY is currently supporting 2 consoles, and the psp. And if one was to compare consoles based on performance and capabilities, then the Wii, IMO, falls short of both the PS3 and the 360, therefore, leaving it in direct compet...
