You can't simply walk into Walmart and get a major discount like you would from Amazon.com either, that doesn't mean that the option to get a xbox 360 at $99.00 isn't there. The problem is that even with this option, it is being outsold.
Could you imagine if the PS3 had an similar option at even $150.00 ? Sony would be out of stock with the PS3 the next day.

Hi dear Vita owner, can you name any 1 year old console or handheld with a better launch line up? I'll wait.
Force Feed Back on the Triggers and shoulder buttons would be nice, but I don't know how they'll pull it off and keep the controller reasonably small, and not too fragile in case it is dropped.
And screen on the controller sounds very nice as well. The Dreamcast and the Wii U comes to mind. Seems like Xbox fans have some cool things to look forward to.

I would sympathize with your feelings if at the start of this generation there wasn't the same scrutiny towards the PS3's ram vs the unified one in the 360.
So yes we should simply wait for MS to announce the next Xbox, but those websites need hits so you can't definitely throw that concept out the door right now.

No the best selling game on the PS3 is not Gran Turismo 5. GT is Number 6 on that list though which is pretty high given that it's not a shooter.
This is very good news for Sony and the PS Vita. It's always a gamble when a company decides to cut the price of a product, because if it fails to spike up even after a price cut, you basically have a huge problem on your hands.
