Can you please stop spouting nonsense? It took the PS2 13 years to sell 150+ million units. The PS3 is in its 7th year on the market, so what kind of math did you do to possibly come up that nonsense that Sony lost 60 million customers?

It was actually offline for a bit, I had problems connecting for the past 30 minutes. But it's back online now, I'm on the west coast btw.
Edit: Just checked my friends' list and there were plenty of people online during the time I couldn't sign in. So clearly it wasn't affecting everyone.

1200 HP Corvette will not beat a 600 HP Formula 1 car on track. The F1 car is OPTIMIZED for circuit racing, The Corvette wasn't.
So please stop comparing console specs to PC Specs, it's just not the same. A PC with 512 MB RAM will not run Uncharted as it is on the PS3.
The best part of this whole Kinect thing for me, was watching people deny how obviously fake the presentations were during E3 and other shows. Major lag everywhere with actors and all that.
Yet, they were the same people who would claim that the Xbox version of some multiplats had 6 more pixels on screen than their PS3 counterpart.
The fans defended kinect pretty hard, and now rumors have it that kinect is going to be a necessity for the Next Xbox. Job well ...

I think your point is true when it comes to the Wii U, as it hard to tell its games apart from the PS3 and XBOX 360(to the general public).
But with the Xbox 720 and the PS4 the leap will much more noticeable, but also, their connectivity to social media services is going to always keep them in the spotlight. So I don't see them falling in the same holes as the Wii U.
The Wii U was supposed to bring us a new way to play, but people are not buying too muc...

I`ve said the same thing in another thread. At $50 I`m much more likely to walk into a store and buy 2 games for $100.00 as opposed to how things are now.
And although I hate (and I don`t use that word lightly) DLCs, they should never cost more than $4.99 in my opinion. They would sell a lot more them if they actually priced it for what it`s really worth. 99% of DLC`s don`t even amount 25% of the content found on the original disc, then why are we being charged $14.99 = %2...

I don't that they're going into irrelevance. If anything, Valve's move toward the Steam Box is showing that the common PC is not as efficient as consoles are when it comes to how much power it needs to do gaming.
A PC with similar specs to a PS3 can't run uncharted, or God of War.

I'm originally from the States, South Florida to precise. And when I'm Vancouver,or Toronto, I'm hard pressed to find differences between the 2 contries. Though Canadians are a bit more friendly from my personal experience.
