The PS4 sold 734,338 units this from Nov 15-22. And the XBox One sold 491,702 units.

I think the trend for sales for this generation was made pretty clear from the start. PS4 released in North America and sold out completely after selling over 1 million units in 24 hours. Microsoft trying to grab some limelight and make people believe that they're selling on par with the PS4 announced that the XBox one also sold 1 million units in 24 hours. Except that they failed to mentioned that it was WORLDWIDE, and not in one region like the PS4.

The point in your reply is not lost on me. The PS2, while being weaker, in terms of capabilities, when compared to the original XBox, did arguably become the best console of all time. And the reason why we can say this is because the PS2, like its predecessor the PS1, was unmatched when it comes to games. Which is precisely what why the article states that the XBox One being weaker in hardware IS a problem.

You know what, I'll come out and flat out say it. Anyone who feel as though DLNA was more important than Share play, needs to sell their ps4 and buy an XBox One while Microsoft is still practically giving them away.

Well, one can hope I guess. But reality tells us that a boost in sales typically follows a price cut. And a decline typically folllows that boost as well. So speaking statistly here, it's not really plausible for the numbers to remain as they are.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but the console is selling 500,000 units a week. One month and a half is exactly 6 weeks. 6 x 500,000 = 3,000,000. And that's not even taking into account black Friday sales and the GTA5 bundle effect.
And let's keep in mind that the PlayStation experience is going to create some massive excitement possibly resulting in sales boost as well. 18-19 million is quite plausible.
As uptownsoul mentioned, worldwide the PS4 version of both of those games handily outsold the Xbox One versions, despite the marketing and bundling.
And also to really bring to light what is happening here, these are VGChartz's conservative numbers for the PS4 up to November 8. Meaning that from Nov 15 2013 to Nov 15 2014, the PS4 have sold some 15 million units! And this all before Black Friday, and the rest of December.

This is something theta has been ongoing since last gen. 2 months ago, the Xbox One's last exclusive game was third party mutltiplatform-turned-exclusiv e game called Titanfall,that was back in March 11. Now that MS released 3 games, you're getting all sorts of articles about "comebacks" and what not. AC Unity is used as ammunition vs 99% of all other multiplats to help spread FUD.
