Beyond click bait. I was at the theaters watching it with like 100+ people, and the majority of the people in there responded positively to the show.
I can't believe how excited and loud people got when they showed LPB3, That old school remastered game, which I know nothing about, the Project Beast, and Uncharted 4.
Especially when they showed uncharted 4, you can hear people gasping and sh1t, it was that kind of disbelief going on in there.
I'm now inside the theater with everyone else, seems like it is going to be maxed out. I. Actually a little bit excited but I'm trying to temper my expectations at the same time.
Let's see what they've got for us.
And I'm guessing that the surprise for the attendees is some sort of redeem code. I won't say for what though, lol. Don't want to spoil anything for anyone.
I'm at the movie theater here in Vancouver. The line up is starting to pick up, and the cut off is in 50 minutes.
@ logic,
Thanks, I will try. I hope it is a great show. I left class early for this ish... Got a cool blue PS4 wristband so far too.
Besides the good point you've made, I'm just wondering what's the point of have a facking E3 conference if irresponsible people are just going to leak every facking bit of surprise.
The show is in a few hours, stop with the facking rumors and leaks already!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, one of the shortest articles I've read in a long time. That's it? That's all the information we get?
Literally just one paragraph.
5 exclusives??????!!!!
Who in the fack releases 5 exclusive games in the fall ever?????
Please name me the companies/publishers who have ever released 5 exclusive games on one platform in the fall for the past 30 years....... I'll wait.
Wow! Astounding!
One step forward, 2 steps back....

"All I saw for the last year or so here in N4G was people complaining about how evil MS was by forcing customers to buy Kinect"
Firstly, the fact that's ALL YOU SAW should speak volume as to how bias you are by your own admission.
I specifically remembered lots of people saying that the XBox One will soon dis-kinect because of the sales, and also because some people genuinely don't want it in their homes. And I s...
@pwnsause_returns
No need to blame Don Mattrick for all of it, honestly. He is 50% responsible. The other 50% falls on the fanbase and the bought out gaming media.
'Til this day, I can't believe people bought into the stupidity that is Kinect. I mean, we have thousands of YouTube videos that shows that almost every single demo for the device were faked, with actors, and Milo, and can anyone recall the infamous "always wondered what the bottom of ...

I rarely ever agree with "one bubble" posters of either camps on here, but we share the same sentiment on this one.
I remember all the smear campaigns of last gen. The many bought reviews from major websites and all the other unethical business practices that still goes on even today. But there is certainly a change taking place, the scent is in the air.
I remember how major websites flipped out at Sony for Killzone 2, and to this day some can't...
tracks, how many times do I have to show you guys that our friend Septic up there is a troll on the like of Sessler?
He has the the exact same thing for Killzone Shadow Fall as he is doing for this game. He tries to walk the neutral on an attempt to cover his tracks but talks like this sets him over the edge.
But God forbids if you mention something about Ryse, or Titanfall, or critique the XBox One.
I mean who else would use a buggy pictur...

Had those games flopped....
@chris
Yes, they took a huge releasing a new 2 new IPs (TLoU and Beyond:Two Souls) so close to the release of the PS4. There we so many people complaining that GT6 should have been a PS4 release.
The hype surrounding the PS4 since the February 2013 reveal could have easily taken the focus away the game. People had similar fears that GTA 5 was also way too late to the party being released so close to the new consoles.

More importantly, these expectations are only for SONY.
Keep in mind that Sony is the company that enrouged cross-buy for Titles on the both the PS3 & PS Vita, and that gives out tons of games a month for $4.16/monthly.
Let me put it in a different light for you guys. While other companies were busy cancelling last gen games to bring them to their next gen console, Sony took a big risk with a New IP's, and released them on a console that was nearing ...
I honestly think that they are unable to do that. A while back, Albert Penelo said that they would "let the games do the all the talking". Then it got real quiet. Like being outsold 3-1 worldwide type of quiet.
So they had to start talking again.
@HanCilliers
I'm really curious to know if that's a standard applied only to Sony games, or is that your expectations of every single game hear about?
I'm genuinely curious to know.

It's a "fact" that this technology is far off in the future.
The Xbox One was revealed in May 2013 and boasted about "The Power of the Cloud". Then in April 2014 it is revealed to have been "just out of the lab" with a TECH DEMO. Meaning that at best, they are at the very start of understanding how the technology works, also meaning that they don't have any idea of how this will be implemented on a large scale...
As I said below, Microsoft decided to talk about this at such an event because they don't want this to take center stage again, as they know people will try and discredit them.
They needed an unknown quantity of servers to run this for just one demo. Could you imagine the amount of servers that would be needed to run physics calculations for let's say, HALO 5 on release day?
As it is, Titanfall itself had some minor hiccups on release day for some fol...
I think what happened at this year's E3 was pretty simple.

Sony was anticipating some megaton from Microsoft because the XBone One is in corner, wobbling. And after they saw Microsoft's show, they decided to hold back on the heavy hitters and just spread them out.
I think they did this for 2 reasons. Number one, the PS4 is still riding the same momentum from launch, so hyping it more doesn't have any real world results when it comes to sales.
