i suit both. there are games i play on console that i'ld rather much play on pc (like ANY and ALL fps titles) and there are games that should only be on consoles (like sports). they both have their advantages. i think this goes back to the older gen console days where gamers would preach against the PC guys for being crazy to drop $300+ on a video card upgrade plus memory upgrade and when u look at things now, pc and consoles somewhat cost the same so that price advantage is no longer there. ...
this is my problem with sony.. they are so strung out trying to flood the market and force bluray on to the consumer without it even being a standard format yet. it's cool the capacity BR has and its a neat idea to have a high def media in a portable device but it isn't a format yet. they are practically using bully tactics here. and fanbots, need not burst my bubbles, i'm neutral on both movie formats and game consoles. i see it how it is, not how i want it to be
^ last i checked the psp was the only system to go up against the ds
i own a psp. it sucks. big time. if it weren't for mine being modded it would have been sold long time ago on ebay. the only thing it has working for it is the modability which sony doesn't want in the first place
u can say as bad as dark_alex may seem to sony reps, he probably is a savior in everyone else's eyes
cuz proving a point will still benefit science
i'm all for this, even though normally i'ld be against it
just hope that with the supposed quality issues that the 360s will be able to hold out overnight simulations
tried the demo this morning with the 997. game seems good, i want to try the other cars out as i heard they all sound different and handle different as well. this isn't the final build, i didnt see an interior dash view, damage is only cosmetic, etc but again, its a demo. im sure the actual game will have tons more.
btw, u wont see tire smoke cuz this aint no freakin burnout contest! sheesh!
i only care for the divx support
i can care less about anything else. it's annoying to convert all my video files just to stream it to the tv via 360
... for consoles
remember us that walk back to the PC realm have had the GTR series for some time. although not upgradeable, it's been known to be the best racing sim made
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd another group of patent attorneys grow richer and make another industry shakey due to greed
ummm
go take a look back at your history books in regards to the mini coopers... they have just as much racing history as a lot of the cars you'll play in either gt ot forza2
fodace merda de caralho the bots in this place i tell ya! he bought it cuz of what the elite model offered... hdmi for his hdtv being that his other ports were clogged up with things, 120gb hdd cuz he downloads a ton of stuff and likes the fact he can have the media on the console as opposed to on the pc streaming. the black color was just a bonus as all his other electronics are black even though he didn't mind the white. he didnt care for the 65nm chip as in he didnt care if it had it or no...
my buddy was on the wall on when to get a 360. he didnt care for the new 65nm chip. soon as word spread about the elite model, he sought out to get one. exactly the demograph that ms wanted. i, as well as others, have 360 premiums. because we already have 360s and see no major advantage in the elite, we chose not to deal with trade ins and what not
win win situation for ms.
50 does seem a little far fetched. either the OP is fudging it or a ps3 fan working at gamestop preached the low demand. my friend picked #1 of 4 at a local SUPER busy gamestop. mind u we are in the tristate area surrounding nyc. something seems fishy if a GS that makes good business only gets 4 units as opposed to a regular shop getting 50. OP, where are you located? if what you say is true than it seems MS drastically messed up on elite distribution
ive got to agree
ild rather play this on pc. even though ild be guilty for buying it on both console and pc.
game looks good. please, no flamebot comparisons on which version is better. i REALLY dont need to read it 4 times with 50+ posts in each
really depends i guess where you live. i've read on other boards im on that it took them a ton of hours to download at a super slow speed
damn, shes a lil hotty! i think shes corny, her jokes are tasteless, etc. she most likely is reading off the writers' teleprompters. i think the girl on ATOS is way hotter, as well as the british chick.
niiiize!
this guy is a tool. and whats a shame is that there are a lot of lawyers out there who will also stop at nothing to make their client (or wallets) happy from draining the other party out.
one of the reasons why nintendo stayed with cartridges so long was because they knew how easy it would be for the future to copy disks and modify the systems to read burnt games. they are smart to know this is an issue all over (USA, JAPAN, EUROPE), but how many wii owners would they lose out on $ for doing so?
i agree with ITR on region blocking... some will mod ONLY to play region blocked titles, but in all seriousness... almost everyone who mods a system did so to play copied games...
PS3FAN's comment is obviously fanboy in every nature of the word
hey buddy, are you an engineer? do you endulge in manufacturing PC boards and their layouts for a living? do you know ANYTHING about board revisions and layouts to even say what you said? are you an electrical engineer to even understand ANYTHING in terms of circuitry?
didn't think so... so shut it
DIRT = dull?
lmao. if u know anything about rally racing, u should know that in no way will the next colin mcrae game be dull, rather a sim. so if u like fake arcady style that doesn't resembly real world racing get motorstorm. if u like a more true realistic offroad racer (like me) get DIRT. i will be getting DIRT, no matter how much fun motorstorm is
sorry fellas... i skimmed through the article. i assumed they would put it into every vaio laptop
for the record, their laptops are crap. my sister got one and it's had problems from day one. even after going back, under warranty to get fixed, we had to shell out $400 for a repair bill (whats the point of warranty?). the laptop worked flawlessly for about an hour. then the same problems happened again.
torch, u do raise some good points. it is obvious that they w...
