only at a ratio of 2:1. so basically as "crappy" as the 360 is doing in japan, the ps3 is only doing double those crappy sales...
ever since the debacle of costing stores money from expecting the systems to sell fast they didnt restock or restock as much, thus having a small quantity in stock and easily being able to 'sell out'
i've heard local stores had anywhere from 2-3 all the way up to 9-10 max
how can u compare a game that's been out for MONTHS and a game that's still due out and has been in the works for as long, if not longer than the other

if u look at his history and not be blinded by your fanboyism, you'ld see he's ALWAYS been involved around sports aside from when he was at sega and ms. it's probably too stressful for him and he always seems to be a laid back kind of guy. sucks for ms to lose him but hey, at least he'll be heading ea sports and hopefully bring fifa series (and other ea sports titles) not suck so much versus the competition

edit: fine, it's in game yadda yadda yadda and looks jaw dropping fantabulous... i hope the AI isn't the same ol' stupid AI on rails and i hope it's no crash n burn bumpin around the cars and corners to take 1st like all GTs up till the last. i love gt but that alone killed it for me when gt3 and gt4 were more of the same. hoping for the best...
simply for the fact that all systems seem to have some great titles all out there around the same time. i can't really guess who my pick would be because as good as 1 platform looks, the other looks just as promising
visually it looks great, but i think this game isn't going to impress many soon as it's available due to repetitiveness. i may be wrong but this is based solely on the videos i've seen. if i owned a ps3, the usual hits i'ld look forward to would be heavenly sword for that new god of war style fix, uncharted for that new tomb raider style fix, mgs4 for mgs style fix, gt5 for those racing game style fix, etc... it's really cool that lair explores something relatively new but everything i've see...
i dont see anything wrong with this.. parent gamers have children who can watch disney flicks, and if any of u guys have girls you'ld understand that the females love disney flicks

then yes BR has more players and not everyone who owns a ps3 uses it for BR but stand alones it's clear the movie buff and tech geeky consumers want hd dvd as stand alone hd dvd wins.
regardless, by the time either format wins, downloadable content will be here as a norm and i'll bet dvd still outsells by a huge margin. most are waiting until a format wins to decide, i for one am in that camp waiting for a standard.

i dont care who wins but its obvious that both formats have their advantages... sadly it's the ps3 fans that work are these retail stores preach to customers superiority... kinda reminds me of when i walked into a honda dealer and the young salesman was boasting about how great hondas were in terms of power and speed and albeit true IF MODDED, hondas (non si & type r) are slow as balls.

but i'll chime in. if BR were to get universal as well i do see hd dvd dieing out sooner than expected and the 360 carrying a BR add on in the near future.
sadly when it comes to high def movies, hd dvd is better for the consumer as it offers more. sorry, dont preach that BR is better... all it offers is an antiscratch coating and more disk space, both of which in my book isn't needed in a movie format. what is cool about hd dvd is that...

best racing sim goes to the gtr boys for pc
for console in my book it was the GT series, but sadly every revision was the same game, a tad prettier, a few more cars n tracks, but the same bump n run 1st place racing with stupid AI, no online and no crash damage. plus the physics weren't good. every car understeered like a mad man, even if in real life it didn't
gt5 looks good, but sony and polyphony are who they are... i'll believe how good the game is when it co...
