The argument that PCs are too expensive compared to consoles is silly considering they do a lot more than play games.
Ovens are more expensive than toasters. Go figure.
Right, console gamers don't care about the graphics. That's why there are thousands of 360-PS3 graphics comparison articles online (most of which get posted here).
Personally, I don't care all that much about graphics. My main reason for liking the PC is 25 years of backwards compatibility. About 30% of the games I play are older than 10 years. I'll take Half-Life 1 from 1998 over Dudebro 5 anytime.
You don't know how it'll be implemented. And since it's entirely optional, you don't need to make use of it if you don't like it.
I contributed $0.00 to DLC, and it'll stay that way.
My face would look pretty crappy on a female Shepard, so I'm not particularly interested in the feature. I don't play myself in video games, I play characters.
There is a better version of the franchise. Not just visually, but also in a gameplay sense (much improved controls, inventory managment etc.).
That's not quite true. Most ports are fine. They may not always allow you to customize graphics settings very much, but you always get at least console quality.
As far as performance is concerened, there are a handful of bad examples out there (Saints Row 2), but most ports work great. And some of them go above and beyond (e.g. Mass Effect with much improved controls and inventory managment or Metro 2033 with out-of-this-world visuals).
You really don't need this mod to justify that.

Mine is. I have a big estate, you know.
Of course it'll have more RAM. At least four times as much, maybe eight times.
With Toshiba having abandoned the Cell and IBM not showing any interest, I wouldn't be so sure that the Cell "will prevail".
Sony would have to shoulder all R&D costs. The PS3 was expensive, the PS4 would be *very* expensive.
Saryk, they all type on their PS3 controllers. Or their iPhones.
Same here. The 260 runs all games really well, despite the rest of my system being old as heck (a little over 5 years to be precise).
MAG? Seriously?
A 90% chance? You mean like my new PS3 is compatible with PS2 games? Oh wait
The gap increased by 600,000 units.
Microsoft's report for January-March 2011 says 2.7m units.
Sony's report for January-March 2011 says 2.1m units.
I'm not surprised at all. I expected they'd mostly cater to people who want a ton of handholding when solving these cases.
It's got to sell millions upon millions, so they had to dumb down the investigation process a great deal.
Lionhead is not spinning it at all. They are looking at lost revenue.
Scenario a) Eliminate used game sales
Secnario b) Eliminate piracy
They are saying that scenario a) would increase revenue more than scenario b)
Daggerfall was indeed too big. It was so big that traveling by horse (as opposed to quick travel via the map) was pretty much impossible.
It took between 5 and 10 minutes to get from one PIXEL on the map to the next.
Probably also one of the reasons for an exclusivity deal. They have to make some of the money back they lose to this pricing.
