No matter how you slice it, TLOU PT1 requires less work to make than say Horizon FW or GOW:R (brand new games).

This is a remaster.
It is the exact same game with updated assets, QOL improvements and minor AI tweaks.
If the gameplay scenarios were adjusted, features like prone and dodge designed in the the levels etc. that would have made it a remake. It is the exact same game with new assets. That’s a remaster.

Both Nintendo and Xbox announced that they would be absorbing the inflation cost and not passing it to the consumers.

This is just another “greedy” move in a long line of greedy moves for the past two years. It is not an anomaly due to global conditions. It is a trend.

Sony has been making anti-consumer decisions since the start of the generation.
This is just another in a long line of greedy moves from Sony.
It will end as soon as we stop defending them and actually call them out and have them reverse course.
It worked on the other issues like Horizon where their greed got the better of them.
How has none of the other big three increased the price of their console?
This is a sure fire way to irrelevance, if Sony thinks they can keep shafting their consumers they way they did for the past two years.
When arrogance increases people would jump ship.

From the beginning of this gen, every move looked to exploit the fans for as much money as possible.
Please understand that the more you defend them the worse it gets. There is no “agenda” against Sony. They are my favorite console maker.
