I’m not an AC fan, but what’s funny about this is that prior to Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla era all I would see around the internet what “It’s the same game every year, they never change!”
Then when they changed to more open world rpg:
“This isn’t assassin’s creed anymore, we want classic assassin’s creed back!”
@Kyizen
That’s ridiculous. BOTW is the first Zelda game I’ve ever played in my life and its right up there with FF7, Witcher 3 and TLOU as some of the greatest video experiences ever made.
8/10? That’s ridiculous…
*Sequel to one of the highest rated games of the generation.
How ridiculous that people get excited!
Nope. The open structure is what made BOTW special imo.
Yeah. I usually come here for the all round gaming news but lately it’s getting ridiculous.
Anyone know any other all round gaming websites with a neutral community?
Sequel to one of the highest rated games of all time would likely be GOTY. Not “just because its Zelda”
N4G readers you mean…
For me and most of the gaming community I get quite excited when a game is compared to one of the greatest games of the past decade (and contender for the greatest game of all time)
Yeah that’s my same thought. A car crash is the furthest thing from fun.
As a Sony fan… The delusion is strong around these parts bro.
I think the hate was more for releasing a VERY broken game. Not that the game wasn’t fun.
I don’t think anyone should support devs releasing broken games.
Same question here:
Was very interested in the game and bought on launch day to play on PS5.
Deleted after my third crash in the first three hours.
Is the game worth it now?
?
@Jin Sakai
- PS4 controllers can’t work on PS5 despite exact layout
- No free upgrade paths for PS4 to PS5 games
- Increased focus on GAAS, Mobile and TV
- Heavy micro transactions in beloved franchise
- Full priced remakes with less content than original
PS5, This is for the payers!
This is quite funny 😄
A fantasy game with ND’s animation quality and attention to detail would be absolute fire.
I can’t wait!!
@Flawlessmic
That was nit a fair assumption at all. It was actually weird for you to go straight to Sony defense mode immediately and saying “you guys want free remakes”.
And it turns out that the same company that nickles and dimes you for a full price remake with less content than the original, turn out to skimp money on packaging and refunds as well.
Many fans can comfortably afford a single 70 dollar remake but its the thought that ...
Sony’s store was the only place possible to buy the collectors edition bro…
I want to play the game now but would not be buying full price.
The problem is not whether or tnot I buy it.
The fact that Sony can know that there are fans who want to play the game on release, supported the last releases and still charge them full price (for a game with less content than the past two releases) is insane to me.
It sets the precedent that Sony is willing to milk their fans for as much money as possible without giving ...
Wait GTA 5 is at the top of the charts in 2022!? That’s crazy!
