@corvusmd
You don't read very well. Before Microsoft implemented that plan, and the length of time was significant, people were forced to repurchase the console. I knew people who had to buy another console even during the new plan because the warranty didn't extend to them--their consoles were too old. I'm sure that's still happening with owners of older Xbox 360s.
@HiddenMission
That's correct; however, it would be disingenuous to Microsoft to not acknowledge that they did much better this generation than last generation, even if they did not change positions in the race.
A year's head start is pretty significant. Before the revision of VGChartz, it had a chart that showed sales momentum from each console's respective launch, and if I remember correctly, the PS3 matched or even exceeded the Xbox 360's sales (with natural exceptions). The PS3 fiasco was largely an exaggeration by the excessive journalists that spawned this generation, looking for the next hit generating article.
Outside of PS3... You do realize this is a PS4 game, correct?
Edit:
Of course I understand. I'm playing the devil's advocate. >:3 You probably shouldn't be so dismissive of a work in early progress where gameplay has yet to be shown. This is a representation of tech they will use and refine in the final product.
As for FPS, it is unknown.
I wouldn't say real life quite yet (it is still a work in progress), but it's very impressive. There is excellent subsurface scattering on a great skin map. The ears, in particular, could probably use a few more polygons. What I'm most impressed by is the simulation of the eye and its components. That, at least, I would contest looks life like.
Its setting is awesome, the technology/art direction looks unique, the monsters, while veiled in intrigue, look like they could be a really fresh take on the British fables of the day, and this is "really" boring?
Sign me up for a boring world then.
Valve hasn't released many games this generation. They would contend for last generation but not this generation in my book.
Divine Dragoon Cannon! WAAHHHHHHHH!!!
...got carried away.

Volcano!
Polygon man made sense, especially for fans from the PSOne era; it just wasn't executed well.
If you look closely, you might notice that this is the American chart where the Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 (opposite is true globally). Stop trolling.
Time to pop his bubbles for being off topic. ;)
This argument is obsolete.

Both can do cloud computing. End of discussion.

Week 1 did about 1.36 million, so I don't know where your figures come from.
Dang straight. :D
The game is now $6 on PSN. I highly recommend it.
They had better put him in. I've been asking for him since the game was announced.
@Cayleee
The modified Jaguar AMD CPU is a desktop based, x86 8 core CPU. Tablets generally use ARM based chips. Point one: invalidated.
The GPU outperforms in specs capable desktop GPUs. Point two: invalidated.
RAM is the highway on which calculations are transferred. Increase the number of lanes and the speed limit, and you get better results. The processors will have no problems filling that; most current processors wouldn't have proble...
That's really impressive how they kept that small form factor with an internal power source.
I would liken the Xbox One to a VCR more than I would a brick.
Stupid argument. This is merely a promotion to provide incentive to switch generations and to embrace PS+.
