"Why the 'author' of this article doesn't know what he's talking about: the quest to get hits."
Fact: this is one review. Others have given it great scores. I would contend this to be the best brawler ever made, though it is lacking some characters and game modes, which superbot will remedy. There is nothing wrong with gameplay; it's actually superbly rewarding. This is my opinion, but it is every bit as valid as any review.
Gamespot is wrong, opinion or not. I've been playing this game for the last 3 hours, and it is of high quality, through and through. It's missing characters, but it is a great game.
He wasn't putting this on Microsoft. He indicated it was due to Activision's CEO's inclination to Microsoft.
If there is any game in the PlayStation library that deserves extended support, it's this one. This game is an homage to their entire adventure in the gaming business; they should treat it as such (which they seem to be doing).
I support this message, and I'd like to add Raziel, Kain, Vamp, FF crowd, Solid Snake, Ezio, and maybe Lloyd.
Take note that I never mentioned any timeframe. Before arguing, you should probably consider actual content rather than content fabricated by you. Otherwise, you'll look silly because you're effectively arguing with yourself.
It's really not such an anomaly as you think. Namely, when you have a plethora of first party titles that appeal to specific gamer types in the wider diversity of the playstation fan base, it spreads potential sales accordingly.
Battleaxe, I agree with God of War 3, but not Heavenly Sword (a beautiful game by all means). Gears of War is a great looking game, but it seems far out-leagued by the others (and other competitors).
That picture is in Korean, not Japanese.
It's Sir.
Oh! The "Medievil" guy is there! (bottom left corner)
What a pitiful excuse for an "article." I actually feel intellectually assaulted after merely skimming through it. The "author" should be ashamed.
The original had semblance to Ellen Page (still does in my opinion, albeit younger), but some anatomical features were off such as the cheek bone, forehead, and eye morphology. If you took the skin and the muscle off of the original, I think you'd have a moderately odd looking skull. The original model was great, mind you, just a little off.
This one?

Creepily realistic? They've done significant skull restructuring for accuracy.
I was on the fence about her redesign, but this picture settled it entirely for me:

She actually looks far more anatomically correct, albeit a little younger (and fitting for her 14 year old character). I also like that they chose to reduce the freckles to a more realistic level for a brunette. All in all, I'm for t...
15 is from Left4Dead 2.
That, good sirs, is one of the best character suggestions I have ever seen. Bubbles to you both. Level 3 could be the Divine Dragoon armor ultimate move and Lloyd's wingly form.

I'll add Kain and Raziel to the suggestion pool too.
On topic: Maximo is the only one I could see realistically appearing in the game. I think the main guy for...
No. It's fair because it is tailored for how and whom the game was tailored for.
Don't rely on VGChartz, though their estimates are generally good; it's their cumulatives that are off. Microsoft announced 70 million sold units about a month prior to Sony announcing the same feat, and the PS3 was handily outselling the Xbox 360 worldwide on a weekly basis for nearly the whole year (and almost every year). Now, since we're approaching Christmas, America universally celebrates it with gifts, unlike non-christain denominations, other countries, etc., so we can exp...
