Killzone runs 30+ fps (frequents mid 40s) at full 1080p in single player. It runs at 50-60 fps in multiplayer also at 1080p. To top it off, I believe that Killzone is the technologically superior game in terms of what it is doing with graphics (gameplay is no contest as Ryse is like "playing a dial phone," according to a journalist). Ryse runs at 900p and scarcely hits the 30 fps target (averaging at 26ish). I will say that the character detail in Ryse i...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. While it is undeniable that the PS4 runs warmer than the Xbox One in this sample set, saying the PS4 runs "hot" is quite an exaggeration. The PS4 seems to top out at around 60 C (140 F); however, most gaming rig PCs can have temperatures into the high 70/low 80 C (possibly even higher) and suffer no ill effects over the long term. So, the informed statement to make is that the Xbox One runs cooler than the ...
Persona has never been terribly graphically demanding, so I think it's a good idea they are going for the console with the bigger install base (especially for the JRPG audience). Persona is not a system seller. More people will get to enjoy it, and they'll make more money.
Actually, most would probably contend that the significantly more capable GPU is a bigger game changer than the bandwidths of both systems, which are theoretically comparable.
To be honest, there isn't a huge difference. It's fairly clear that Forza looks better, but it's not quite a generational leap. I will end up with GT6 because I'm a fan of the series and I don't have enough reason to jump to the next generation yet (hopefully, The Order: 1886 will change that).
Ryse has better character models, but Killzone provides a better overall package with superior resolution/environments/effect s/etc. People's preferences will be weighted by that: do they prefer character or overall package? I prefer Killzone, myself.
Haha. That got a chuckle out of me. Bubbles.
No, it's not.

Yeah. The cars are indeed very good looking, but the environments are embarrassing.
@bornsinner
No misinformed troll is going to change the facts either.
The framerate is currently well over 30 FPS, but even if it was locked below 60 FPS (contrary to their goals), do you feel like you would be upset with this? Well, you would because you're a troll, but I don't think any rational person would complain.

That's awesome. I plan to name my first daughter Raine (like Raine Loire), though probably as a middle name.
FFVIII is still my favorite game of all time. It was a very polarizing entry into the FF universe, though I never fully understood why.
@OrangePowerz
An apt summary. Props for you.
Raptar, you should read his post.
@raptar
Chill out. ;) I believe he was alluding to information disclosed in prior articles.

This is what dynamic lighting looks like. https://www.facebook.com/ph...
Every time I see Forza 5, it looks worse and worse. I hate it when publishers/developers deceive the community. In the meantime, this game keeps looking better and better:

Exceptionally well said, MysticStrummer. Here, enjoy a bubble. :)
I'm a little confused about that too. It's Microsoft that has been inconsistent with its several reversals in policy and contradicting PR.
A rental may be a prudent decision. It is a rather important tech demo for the Xbox One, even if the gameplay is undeveloped.
eSRAM does not add to the graphics processing capabilities of the system; it only increases the bandwidth of transmitting data. It isn't conceivable that eSRAM will do anything except catch the bandwidth disparity caused by the DDR3 of the Xbox One up to the PS4 (and theoretically exceed the PS4's bandwidth). The compute cores, ROPs, etc., are what generate the graphics. And since both consoles share similar (nearly identical) CPUs, the difference will come down to the GPU capabilitie...
