I never said those numbers. The numbers I was thinking of, but didn't quote, were from Anandtech, people who actually dissected a unit: 68.3 GB/s for the DDR3 and 102 GB/s for the eSRAM. Keep in mind that these probably are not necessarily additive, but they will contribute. When I said the Xbox is weaker than the PS4 in nearly every regard, the memory was included in that; we just don't know specifics about the CPUs yet as they are both supposedly on the same architecture with unspec...

Author forgot to account for the Xbox's eSRAM, which brings the memory bandwidth up much higher. It's still weaker than the PS4 in nearly every regard.

I assume your greater than signs (>) are intended to be arrows, in which case, your logic is sound. Using -> would alleviate confusion.

I believe they can take the assets they used to make the original prerenders to make HD renders, assuming they kept that data.

I will be getting this as this is still my favorite game to date.

People got hung up on the multitouch part. I believe he meant capacitive, which is a far superior technology. Instead of detecting pressure (through disruption of rays under the screen), the screen is a giant capacitor that can detect transferred electrons. It detects through a matrix of sensors, so it is far easier to detect than multiple pressure points, which need to be localized by multiple directional rays that have the potential of being blocked by the other pressure source. As long as ...

Agreed. I still don't think any game has beaten it. Disappointing that it was even nominated.

If it's a haven (a place of refuge), then that means they had persecutors, such as yourself. Who really is wrong, those who seek haven or those who create the need for it?

They don't compare gameplay elements, so the "apples and oranges" argument cannot be applied; the fact that they are two completely different genres is irrelevant. They merely compare gore, character, and which series readers prefer (the last one may be influenced by genre, but I am certain people are capable of distinguishing which of the two they prefer).

1:05 on your video proves your point. It's interesting that the lead seemingly isn't as good as the ports.

I'm certain it's a typo. 800 MHz is reasonable for just about any GPU these days.

Edit:
Oh, they fixed it.

@flyingmunky

Just a little FYI for kicks and giggles: Hertz is already a per second (s^-1) measurement, which in this case is clocks/cycles per second, so there is no need for the extra /s in your first sentence. Unless, of course, that was a /s for end sarcasm. ;)

Since it's Battlefield we're talking about, something would be terribly wrong if the game didn't look gorgeous. So, despite being the CFO, he's probably right.
