Microsoft has never proved itself capable of handling new or popular IP in any substantial way.
Even their biggest IP halo was released incomplete and with a horrible monetization scheme. And that's after a really long delay.
I'm not confident at all in Microsofts ability to handle just a few studios let alone so many right now.
Games with gold will be long gone by then...I hope...since its kinda useless.

Whats not consistent is this stupid idea that Dad couldnt make enough for playstation but totally could make enough to get a kid an xbox which comes with the usual expenses of online, maybe gamepass, controllers, games new or used, etc.

Cod isn't even that great of a game. I would like Microsoft to take the IP in a much better direction. If they do that then I say they deserve it as an exclusive.

So let me get this straight. If now no one has to pay 60$ for a product and instead something like a few cents if you were to split all the money evenly between games you get access to...somehow you think that'll end as a better product...
But I do get that since it'll be in gamepass you may at least try it out when you otherwise wouldn't bother...I get that...but that's not good for the product.
Exclusives are a form of competition between platforms...it drives innovation and forces companies to try to offer the best on their platform.
That competition is good for gamers and directly means that exclusives are good for gaming. If you're going to pretend that exclusivity and competition doesn't help gaming then I hope you realize that demons souls only existed because of sonys exclusive funding ...which means without exclusivity we may never have gotten the ...

Well yeah i remember what Sony said. And that was in direct response to Microsoft alluding you wouldn't need a next gen Xbox to play next gen games and all games releasing across generations.
They went back on that part but that was Sonys response. Which obviously meant that they wouldn't do that. And they haven't.

Console wars have always been about which console gives the better games. Seems you forgot what the console wars is about....competition...and in the end...getting better products.

Yeah and us gamers will get the short end of the stick. Gamepass will go up in price and may potentially in the future be all digital releases.
