Don't care about Jim. In fact I'm pretty sure I don't like that guy at all.
What miracle has he worked? Releasing next gen consoles? That happens with every generation. Not fucking it up? Its not difficult to do better than the previous launch. Bought a bunch of studios working on IP? Anyone can buy studios with the money.
The question is whether Xbox has developed a single new popular and successful IP all of last gen? And btw he took over fairly early...

Oh wow. An achievement for what exactly? There's absolutely nothing worthy of note other than ....Xbox series s and x released at the same time.
There hasn't been a single new IP from him that warrants any achievement.what a complete joke.
This is when you know that there is a clear issue with the review process. I can perfectly not recommend a game based on my preferences but give it a good score if its a good game.
Deaths Door and Nobody Saves the World being prime examples for me lately. Both great games, especially Nobody saves the world. I would score Deaths door a 3.5/5 and the other a 4/5
But I personally would give both a pass. Good games but not for me.
Or using the myriad of other weapons in the game along with status effects or traps...and im sure grenade like items. Not to mention any finishing moves or kicks, etc.
Yeah and theres something about how some of these non gaming sites write that feels so detached from the entire idea of gaming. Its only a culture thing for them.
Game informer tends to align with my views on games. Much more likely to trust these reviewers over any other site. Still waiting to hear from some YouTubers before I decide if I'm purchasing at full price or waiting.
What sites are these. I encourage everyone to read these low reviews. That way youll be able to see the pattern from sites like these. Theyre not in it for the games but almost for the culture aspect of reviewing games with an added hint of politics.

Nope. I've read it. Its perfectly fine to bash such a badly written review.
This site spends its time talking about other games and insulting this game based on simmilarities from other games because its not as great as some other completely different games.

With the /5 scoring method it's vastly different.
A 3/5 is understood as an average game and a 2/5 would be a failed game. Translated that would be a 6/10 and 4/10 respectively. In reality, games I would score as 3/5 tend to score as 8 or 8.5/10
But this is only 1 review. I'm seeing plenty of 9s
Imagine buying a resort but only allowing white people to reserve rooms.
Forget the racism aspects...you exclude a whole group of people who could've and were previously renting those rooms. Imagine also kicking out tenants out of an apartment for similar reason.
Aside from the racism...mine is the better analogy. You go from allowing everyone to use your product to we excluding the majority of gamers.
That's Microsoft fault. Sony likely would never have considered it if Microsoft didn't go on their IP buying spree.
I'm not a fanboy. I dislike all of these stupid acquisitions of mutliplatform devs. But I can recognize patterns when I see them.
MS set the precedent with these acquisitions just like they did with paying for online with gold. Sony follows suit with those bad practices because that's business.

If it sucks because you have to slash at enemies I would say thats a bit of a weak argument.

Anything lower than a 7 is a failed game.

All I'm going to say is Sony hasn't touched liver service games.
Path of exile and Warframe are both technically live service games but also incredible games.
... yeah. That's the most ridiculous thing ive ever read on n4g.
I hope they get them working on exclusive IP. Even reboots of sonys franchises.
It was in the works from quite a bit before Ms recent acquisitions...so it's a nice opinion but facts around the subject tell a different story.
Yeah yeah
We've heard similar things with Bethesda and activision purchases.
Only time will tell. Why spend so much money on nothing.
Don't get why PC gamers pay the same but don't get the same offerings
Not exactly the same.
