Oh geez...
Dying Light 2
Horizon Forbidden West
Elden Ring
and now this in March?!?!
Pretty sure this year will actually be packed with deserving game of the year contenders. Many more to come as well.
So yeah...obviously everyone would agree they would rather keep a developer in business than closed.
But that is speculation due to information we dont have. We dont function in the world based on information we dont have but rather information we do have.
Same with you here. However I do find it a different case when a studio has only about two IP and one of them is doesn't belong to them. My biggest gripe with buying off multiplatform devs is the number of IP and successful IP that suddenly could become exclusive. This purchase is a minor grievance regarding that. It would be much worse to me if they had bought something like from software or Capcom
Well I'm happy to hear that Destiny will remain multiplatform but on a brighter note it's clear that Sony sees the clear talent of the devs at Bungie at making the best games on a gunplay level.
I'm thinking they're going to direct Bungie to create or revive old FPS shooters like resistance or kill zone. And that is quite exciting. I also believe that they are allowing Destiny as a multiplatform to play ball regarding call of duty.
LOL
And there were so many convinced that this was of course not planned for other consoles.
I think it clearly was if its been in development for so long.
I'm yet to be impressed. Games impress me and I can honestly say only a couple actually impressed me that released last year. None of them being an Xbox game.
I really hope and pray that changes when fable, Avowed or perfect dark release.
And hopefully they release their recently purchased studios so they don't collapse with them.
Is it just me or is this game already old news? I feel like I've played almost every other multiplayer game a ton more than this one and I'm not at all interested in coming back to it.
Maybe if they released it in a finished state rather than a live service things could've been different.
Continuing to service a game after launch is great but releasing it as a live service, intentionally incomplete, is not fine.
So now you're Contradicting yourself.
Dying light had the same repetitive type of content throughout....and yet you actually considered it above Ubisoft crap.
You must think it's better only because it's first person because there really isn't any other reason why you wouldn't have it fall with the others.
Open worlds from Ubisoft are the same pretty much from start to finish.
Open worlds from other developers evolve overtime during play. Even something like dying light 1 adds additional traversal and enemies in a significant way. Ubisoft just throws you an extra armored enemy.
Not all open worlds are created equal.
Ubisoft side content is boring throughout almost the entire game. Other open worlds have much more interesting side content....
Right cuz people have never said how stale and crappy cods are before the purchase.
The narrative surrounding CoD is the same today as it was before the purchase. Games are yearly trash releases that depend heavily on monetization and constant leveling up mechanics to give you that kick of dopamine. Everyone agrees they sell a lot of copies...primarily to casuals. Wouldn't be surprised if the majority of cod players never heard of Dishonored or Prey...probably not even ...
I've seen people have difficulty with enemies because of the swamp...as well as some slow movement due to the depth of the swamp in some areas
Didnt I just see an article that this game would be more easily finished by more players....Im sure poison swamps might cause a problem to some. lol
Lol
Good luck
That's like hoping it's not a souls game.
I personally found dark souls 3 bosses some of the easiest...but then again by then I had beaten quite a few souls games.
This isn't unique to Microsoft. It's almost standard practice to sneak in the auto renewal in all types of subscription services...it happens absolutely everywhere. The solution is and has always been simple on the consumer side.
Checkbox to auto renew. Otherwise it's set automatically to OFF.
No. As a player you will now be unable to attain a lot more content just by playing and be expected to use more and more money in a game that may be abandoned within a year. Making all those purchases entirely useless.
You're comparing buying an actual video game to buying a digital hat
Welcome to mobile...I mean console triple A gaming.
Thank you for saving me the click. The double standards are real
