I know it's not technically an open world as we know them today but it was definitely the first game for me that seemed to create a big world that you travel around in.
So my nomination goes to ocarina of time.
Dying light 2, stalker and prince of Persia will almost 100 % not be disappointing. One is a remake of a highly successful title....doubt they can screw it up if it follows the original.
Dying light 2 already has tons of previews and gameplay. Don't think that'll disappoint the fans of the IP.
Stalker is the only question mark of those 3. Time will tell.
The rest will likely be disappointing.
Completely disagree that 20...
It can essentially be a handheld Xbox if you can install gamepass.
Also a good opportunity to buy any of the other huge titles releasing in February. Pretty sure they don't want to have their selection compete with other huge releases.
They're probably saving for a bigger and drier month.
Yeah it's been such a long long....month since the last great ps plus selection...
Well....who woulda thunk that perhaps just maybe PlayStation would rather you purchase some other games during the month of February....go figure.
Not at all. Did you upgrade your bike? I barely recall having to fill up the bike throughout gameplay. It was such a minor thing and it opened the possibility for serious survival shit situations which I loved and wished had happened to me more often.
People complained about it because it led to their death...or because they weren't used to having to take care of the mount in a game. So they'd not bother upgrading it and would leave it somewhere and go really far on...
It is not a Ubisoft style game at all.
Ubsioft invented the trash open world repetitive grind. That's all. Open worlds existed before them and were better before the massive amounts of busy work jammed into the genre.
Happy to hear that. Hunt showdown is proof this devs still got potential and Ryse son of Rome was my favourite Xbox one game all last gen. Sucker for gladiator shit.
Have you seen tlou2? It was developed first for ps4. Its going to look great on ps4 and better on ps5 but still incredible on the ps4.
The opposite of my experience. As is the case with me and open worlds save for Elder Scrolls Morrowind and the Witcher 3(barely), Im hooked in the beginning and lose interest overtime due to repetition and boring side content.
If thats the direction sony studios take with their open worlds then they will soon dominate that space as well.
Gotta say it actually really looks incredible.
I wasnt a huge fan of the first...it was an open world with Dinos and the dinos were cool but that was it.
Im seeing enormous improvement to traversal and combat.
You can just feel the innovation taking place in the preview. Too bad only sony seems to pull this off every time.
Link doesn't seem to work....hmmm I wonder why.
I only saw mention of over 20million in other words somewhere between 20-21million players on halo infinite.
They did not distinguish at all between campaign and multiplayer.
Thats all fine and good but the blizzard article still announces the game. It gives really clear details of the type of game as well.
We're missing the name but we know full well the direction..at least based on what is written.
Thats a game announcement.
Instead they could have simply said they are hiring. Or hiring for new AAA game. Many other devs have done this. Im not saying this is a mistake on their part. Simply stating its a weird time to be an...
Well yeah but Im not gonna be playing it again so for me that was the highest definitive version. Also because it was during my childhood. It wouldnt be or feel the same at this point so I dont see why I should ruin it.
N64
So youre telling me that they need to announce the game before hiring people for it?
That makes no sense. I obviously dont think they cant announce to hire but to suggest that is the reason for this announcement is silly since we've all seen articles when companies are hiring for new IP or new game.
Well yeah and it's a bad way to look at value since...you could technically say mutliplayer games have infinite value....since you can spend 100s of hours on each. Maybe 1,000s
