...why? Whats the point of having all that...what a mess you have there. But youre right...absolutely...the S is going nowhere FAST.
And digital only...so forget about buying anything used or at retail.
He may be right...but buyers remorse will be rampant.
I see now what phil meant about selling more series S consoles. Its not that people are actually more interested in that console...its that they've advertised it as a next gen machine, which it isnt, and also fail to mention that its all digital in any of their advertisements, other than fine print. And not only is it a cheap entry but now its cheaper than any console has ever been 2 years in. $249...heck even the ps4 didnt get to that price (except maybe the first model).
I do believe CDPR were capable...I just didnt expect what others did and chose not to forget that Witcher 1, Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 all had tons of bugs at launch and performance issues....soooo yeah.
If its another halo infinite then its not going extremely well.
@phoenix
If the public needs to let you know your game doesnt look good compared to whats out there or expected then maybe they shouldnt be working on top tier IP.
Well the PS4 was great on its own especially if you consider that it has games like God of war ragnarok on it.
Normally development after announcement can take 2 years. So not sure why you think it would release 1 year after announcement....is that what they said back then?
After dying light 2 this will give me my zombie fix. Please be good.
Behold! Studios can do more than 1 IP forever.
For me I vote for gotyr based on my experience with the game. I ask myself...will I remember this experience fondly 5-10 years from now.
I freaking still remember beating child of light...but cant say I'll remember much of elden ring...not anymore than other souls games and considering its scope, much less than expected.
Im with you on Horizon...platinumed it as well but for me its eye candy...combat is the best part for me...didnt care at all for the story or...
Im not sure why stray is in there. Its nice game but ...gotyr? Only if you havent played anything else.
Elden ring is an interesting case. Like it is only garnered so much attention because of its open world. All previous games had deep lore. World building in elden ring is noticeable because its a new IP and an open world which better showcases the world. At first I loved it like everyone. As I got about halfway through the map I realized that there isnt much to do in the world outside of riding to the next interest point which is usually a chest in a watch tower or village and a dungeon that ...
Im more suprised by all the people who got and beat it so fast despite hating the damn thing. Now thats surprising.
@porkchop
I recognize theyre great...but I havent been able to get into them...I played a couple of them though. Pentiment is a little tougher for me to get into though...maybe its the style or lack of early hook..Im still playing it though. Sometimes you gotta push through to the filling in the middle.
Even bringing up the topic that this is like god of war 2018 is ridiculously naive or dumb. So please do tell me how different the previous god of wars were from each other? They all played roughly the same except for maybe ascension. Each were an evolution from what came before.
Its extraordinarily niche. Im all for reading text in games but thats the whole game here pretty much.
We all know the answer to that. Money gets you stuff..funny though it takes it away from others and this by the guys that claim to want everything accessible to as most people possible.
Yeah but the time ps3 came the experience was the same on both based on what I played...not too much online though to be honest. But I do think that the xbox did help bring online into the console space a lot. As well as PC games to consoles.
No...they did...that's why they paid.
